What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Yeah I saw that blurry hairy blob in the back of the room before he even had a line. I thought, oh shit, here we go.

 

I changed my mind and continued with it(Shadow and Bone). I just finish the first season and will start the the second tonight. I am enjoying it but I think the problem these days with fantasy is Game of Thrones set the bar too high. I've tried watching Rings of Power, Willow, Wheel of Time, maybe some others I can't think of. They all seem a little silly compared to GoT.

Much better than last season, looking like a promising series finale coming up

dark comedy based on the true story about two 20 something year old stoners that became arms dealers in ~2008 and secured contracts with the US government to supply the military with guns and ammo...under lies and false pretense of course

The books are considered 'young adult' so I think thats why the show is kinda toned down but the books are a sort of less violent and non sex version of GOT.

Idont watch much TV except for Jeopardy on my days off

I'm on episode 6, this show is addicting. It's like watching an artfully crafted train wreck slowly go down

 

Game of Thrones was fantasy but for a fantasy show they really made it feel more like you were watching a dramatic period piece. I mean obviously dragons weren't real but even with those, you didn't feel like you were watching a fantasy show. I also have a hard time with fantasy, couldn't get into any of those others you mentioned either. But GoT is one of my favorite shows of all time (well, minus the last 2 seasons of it).
