    The center console cover fits like shit. I think when I have the console out for the floors and the black dyejob I'm gonna have to take it alllll the way apart and put it on with spray adhesive.

    Found this shit all inside the center console.

    LUCKYYYYYYYYY it looks very old and I have had no wires chewed.

    Fits perfect. One little foam block came off it in shipping but I can't figure out where it goes. Didn't see any glue marks and I don't feel any hollow raised spots.

    Doing SEM dye on the console pieces now, after scrubbing 15 years of crud out of every seam.

    Well, they've been shit at making leaf springs for a long time so I guess they're trying coils now :notsure:

    Is that a 2nd Gen console? If I didn't know better I'd say it was identical to the console in my 2019.

    :frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

    I really hope they keep a halogen light option somewhere in the Tacoma range, because if the numbers are right I could maybe be convinced. But I hate LEDs (unless they make them amber :spy: )

    I just wish they'd focus efforts and $$$ on stuff that mattered instead of silly accent lights.

    How can you tell......asking for a friend that has absolutely no concept on what they are looking at or the difference in set-ups between leafs and coils....

    With coils you need a panhard rod for side to side location of the axle.

    Worst part of the job by far was the center console cover.

    When I gut the dash to wire the heated seats I'll probably murder out the remaining grey plastic and vinyl, including doors, floor trim, and pillars.

    2nd gen, 2009.
