    Premium
Price for premium stuff. I see the benefit for those who want to get in to over landing and not having to deal with shops plus all in one price when financing.

$95k pesos after dealer "market adjustment", assuming this trim is even made available in canuckistan.

For reference, that is the current listing price of dealer demo 4Runner TRD Pros in District 6ix.

Pro it’s the top of the line for off road use. This is for the one who want to finance a ready to go overland rig as they call them.

As other have mentioned, I want to see the pro details and off road details. And it’s awesome that Toyota it’s offering this tier for the ones that want and can afford it. Will the stealerships do their mark ups and bs? Absolutely.

You're not wrong. Main reason I got the PRO version is because it looks cool. Won't really mod it other than tires and in my mind it will cost less than had we got an OR version once we go to trade or sell due to higher residual.

I've modified things in the past and it always ends up either costing more than the OEM package or ends up riding worse or fitting worse or some other issue. Trailhunter trim maybe very interesting to me once all of it is revealed.

You just described 75% of the Tacoma population. Toyota knows their primary demographic.

I think it will sit below a Pro and possibly the Off-Road model. Additionally, I believe it will use the SR5 as the base, much like the current Trail Edition.

Isn't the current Tundra Trail hunter concept a dotted line to the Pro? Pro is high speed off road, where as the Trail hunter is for overlanding?

Maybe a lesser model but with the add ons I think it will be priced higher than the pro.

But there’s so many taco owners that think they know what suspension setup is a better ride than that of the Toyota engineers. There’s a lot more that goes into a Manufacturers decision other than “Those Kings look cool”

But it will end up being more expensive than a Pro… depending on what engine they put in it. The TH will potentially have more modifications than the Pro… Remains to be seen.

The Tacoma sales catalogue will be as thick as a phone book :D

The pro uses the SR5 as it’s base, as does every other Taco.

Who’s to say it’s not an add on to the Pro? Look at GM and how they do the AT4X and ZR2. ZR2 Bison comes with ARB options. So maybe it’ll be called TRD Pro TrailHunter and allows the manufacturer to add $5,995 to $8,995 from the factory. Bringing your $54,000 TRD Pro up to $60,000 which is right in line with ZR2 Desert Boss Edition as well as AT4X Edition 1.

Toyota has already said at the last SEMA event that the Trail Hunter will be the higher trim level. It’s aimed at trail crawling while the pro is still aimed at desert running.

I’ve been wondering for the last 6 months if it was going to have front lockers finally, and stock and calibrated 33s at a minimum.

I think you are onto something, maybe this "replaces" the Trail Edition.

    The current hierarchy...

    SR
    Standard model. $27,250

    SR5
    Upgraded model. $29,930

    TRD Sport
    Standard performance model. $34,160

    TRD Off-Road
Off-road performance model. $35,440 starting MSRP*

    Limited
    Luxury model. $40,005 starting MSRP*

    Trail Special Edition
Special edition model. $40,470 starting MSRP*.

    TRD Pro
Top-of-the-line performance model. $46,685 starting MSRP*.

They should put hunter-friendly features on the Trailhunter Ed., like gun racks and ammo can holders. Depending on the region, that'll come handy mall-crawling as well...

The test vehicle captured by KGP a few days ago showed 33" Goodyear Territory fake-MTs. Barring unexpected failures during handling tests (like Ford Explorers with Firestones), those should come as an OEM tire.

No word on the front locker, despite the LC300 having one.
