Probably set to the taller 226mm coil seat height. I think you said you haven't added weight yet. You're at 4" of lift up front then and 2" of lift in the rear at 24" all around.

I have winch, bumper and arb up front with sliders coming. The rear I went heavy for rtt and camp gear but I feel like I'm high. Only wanted 3 level front to rear/ no rake.

The leaf springs and coil overs will settle after driving on them for a couple of weeks. The added weight will bring the overall height down. You should be good once you install all that weight. You might need some fine tune adjustments to the front, but I'd wait until you add winch bumper, sliders and RTT. :notsure:

@Crikeymike im running the dobison 314 and 220 struts. Also added about 160lbs up front. So front end def has a 1 inch sag and dip when braking. I could just change spring. But I’d like to move to the ims prebuilt. On your website. I was thinking going with the ims setup with 200lbs and 3 inches for 2019 dual cab. Does this make sense? Or should I go with 2.5 lift since my lb of front is only 160 Also I have the dobinson nitrogen in the back do I have to switch ims too? Rather not change the rear til later

thanks for all the help Andy

I have similar set up bumper + winch skid . I have the 314 springs( I think you meant) and the 220 which are longer travel and seat the spring higher by 1 inch. So the one inch decrease because of the weight load will be o in decrease for you with the 220 strut. Mike please correct me if I’m wrong The only issue I have now is the dipping when braking not the worst but it is there. I actually am moving towards the ims system with heavy load springs set height at 3 inches. Hope this give you a real life experience of the set up you are looking at.

You can't stop the front completely from compressing the springs when braking. There's gotta be some movement. It's adjustable height on the IMS, so it depends where you want it to be and you can change it. You would have had 3" with the C59-314 and GS59-220 with no weight, so if you want to get back to there, it would be the 200lb option with the 3" height selected.

You don't have to change out the rear shocks, however it's ideal to run the same type of shocks front and rear so that you get the same performance out of them and nothing unusual happens (like the rears fade before the fronts, etc)

Ok so I did a small experiment. I ordered in 314’s to install on my 5100’s to replace stock coils top perch. I installed only 1 coil on the right side to see what height I got with the added 90lbs up front. And I want to drive on it like this to check again for settling… here’s what I came up with. These measurement are on 5100’s with 265/70-17’s
    LF (Stock coil top clip)
    From ground- 37-1/4 Hub- 22-1/2
    LR- 5100 w/AAL- ground- 37-5/8 Hub-23-1/4
    RF- (314 bottom clip)- 37-1/4
    RR- 5100 w/AAL-ground- 37-3/4 Hub 23
What I found interesting was how even it was in the front… already felt the way better ride quality! Anyways, did this to see where my ride height was at and gathered that Once I install the left side I will redo to the right and put both on 2nd from the bottom to even everything out like it was before I installed the bumper.

Hello, I have been reading the forum and will probably find the answer sooner or later but I wanted to ask if the leaf springs are only for short beds? I want to upgrade my suspension from the Old Man Emu 887's and Dakar Medium Leafs (squeak like crazy) - got them used with I assume 2 years of heavy wheeling (with weight in the front) and I put another 5 years on them as a daily (no weight in the front but a canopy in the back). Anyways, I wanted to get some insight before ordering a set: whether I should go with a heavier leaf pack and what amount of lift will I get after upgrading from OME 887 springs (if any, but hopefully). I have JBA UCA, sliders, CMC, 285/75/16's. No plans on weight in the front; weight in the back is the canopy, matching spare, and rack. Thanks

    Hey bud,

The leaf springs can be used on long beds, but you need to go 1 step up when you're making a selection. L59-111-R lifts 2" with regular load on a long bed, and 112-R with a heavy load. The L59-110-R only lift 1" on a long bed, so they're not ideal for most people.

Anyone adjust their nitrogen pressure yet? I'm about 30k miles post install and noticed a one inch sag on the left side.

Thanks for the info. Last question before I order a set, what is the difference between the Front Seat Height (213mm vs 226mm)? I don't have any plans for weight in the front so I was thinking of C59-314 but if that's a 2inch lift, am I correct to assume the 226mm Front Seat Height would increase it to a 3inch front? Would that affect rear if I'm planning on L59-111 since I have a long bed and canopy, or would that level it out more?

Yeah, you use the standard seat height of 213mm for no additional lift.

Either 2" front and rear for factory rake or 3" up front for 1" more level front to rear.

I checked my nitrogen pressures, all were around 100-125psi. But it inflating to 150psi really helped with my inch sag on the left side. Spec is from 140-200, 150psi on my gauge was easy to see and set to. Now it's closer to quarter inch left sag which was about what it was from install. Just something for people to think about. Not sure what they are set at from the factory.

Not an alignment expert, actually quite ignorant when it comes to alignments. Put my both 314’s replacing my stock coils on 5100’s on 1st notch I’m at 22.5’ish on LF and 22 5/8-3/4’ish on RF stock UCA’s. How’s this look, can I get by on stock UCA’s for 9-11 months?

Caster is a little weak, should've pushed it farther forward.

Overall looks pretty decent though. (I'm also tired, so don't sue me if I missed something lol)

Nope, not a big brake kit but super nice rotors. They are from a company called Frozen Rotors, they have an online shop but if you all them it's easier to get what you want.

After reading through this thread, a few of your posts indicate that the 16+ Access Cab Tacomas need to opt for springs with an extra 1 inch of lift to achieve any lift beyond the 1 inch of front lift that came from the factory. The description on your site for the C59-300 springs seems to say the opposite:

2.0″ – Toyota Tacoma Single Cab V6 2016-23 Heavy Load

1.0″ – Toyota Tacoma Dual Cab Short Bed V6 2005-2023

Single cabs lift more with the 4x4 coils because they're lighter
Access cabs came 1" taller than a DCSB, so if you put a 2" DCSB coil on it, you'll only get 1" of lift
All coils are spec'd for DCSB's.
