    So I have a new to me 2008 2.7l 5spd access cab.

Have to start by using the switch on the dash and this is because there is a switch but the pedal when mashed fully into the carpet does not touch the switch. There is a tab on the side of the pedal and my question is.. should there be a piece of rubber/plastic on the tab. If so any one got a decent pic or a part num?

The screws that hold the c channel around the top of the bed have all be cut, and my buddy is removing them so we can put c channel back and i know the screw part num is 90148-A0006 but wondering if anyone new the size, guessing M8 or 6 by probably an inch.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for this post. I believe this is to bypass the switch. I am trying to work out what is actually missing on mine.

Maybe someone can take a picture or have a look at the back side of the pedal where it pushes on the switch?

@Dm93 might be able to help.

I looked mine doesn't have the hole on the clutch safety switch just on the clutch cruise switch, in any case I have always fixed them with a push pin of the correct size.

My friend was under there the other day (were trying to fix the clutch (master) issue (separate post) and ended up using a heavy duty cottor pin, and achieved the same result. :)
