    Only car I regret selling.
I needed more room than I assumed I would, which was a tough decision, so in that sense I don't regret it but I wish I could've kept both and I still have days I'm like fuck, I really should've kept it. I'll get another one day no question. Older R53s can be had for not that much, hell even used F56s are pretty affordable.

I'll look up motor specs and see if Toshiba or Baldor have a cross for the very special and unique techtop we use. And I'll have to see if the GE control transformer is the same size as the Hammond (we only use Hammond cause their 500va is smaller than any option available from my current supplier)

I think it would be super badass if we could get our companies doing business together:fistbump:

Got Dex a vet appt for Friday, he's been weird with food lately not really wanting to eat much at all. Didn't eat his dinner last night, didn't eat breakfast this morning, daycare said he didn't eat anything there either. Ate a little bit at home just now. A few days ago he was trying real hard to barf for awhile which isn't that unusual for him cause he eats and chews on all kinds of stuff in the backyard.

But just want to be sure nothing is going on with him, might need to switch up his food. Again

We typically do Hammond in our panels but we cant get them as of late.

Hell, we do build to print too. So all you'd have to do is order the entire panel from us if you dont want to build them yourself.

Yeah it got warm this week, mid 80s

He shed his undercoat almost completely (finally), he looks way less fluffy than he did before so at least he won't be as hot

Don't think the possum got him at all, plus that last one was no bigger than my hand barely a few weeks old probably

He's got all his shots which is good considering his penchant for grabbing wild animals, god knows what they are all carrying

I know I joke with the lot of you here, and like to think I tread lightly because I always remind myself that many of us are fighting our own battles without ever talking about them to anyone.

Today, is easily the most difficult day of my life. I know it's a rather bold statement coming from what I've been through, but it is.

My beautiful wife and I had celebrated what would be the happiest day of our lives when we introduced our first baby boy, Theo.

Many of you don't know this but my wife was diagnosed with bipolar disorder 1 some time back before we ever met; this is the most severe level you can be diagnosed for.

As of late, she entered into a manic state and has been in said state for over 3 days now.

I finally mustered the strength and energy to get her to the next echelon of care out of my hands. I won't go into detail but yes I did get her to the psychiatrist office and did communicate with her therapist prior to admitting her; all options were exhausted.

It goes without saying that I did not do this without support. My mother in law and sister in law have spent considerable time helping my wife get through this, they've helped considerably in taking care of our baby as well as allowing me to rest as needed.

I also can't thank @eon_blue and his wife enough; I shared with him and Kira my concerns when this started and Ryan's wife was quick to make the drive here to help. I seriously can't ask for better friends than this and I'm extremely grateful to have them in our lives. She's been over taking care of Theo and even things around the house as I did what I had to do earlier.

Nothing is more painful than seeing the one you love most go through this, without knowing that she has absolutely no control over anything she says and does. The most painful part was her screaming, crying, and fear in her eyes as they closed the ambulance doors and left; I cry non-stop thinking about it.

But I know now I have to focus on my being well for our son, and being the dad he needs me to be while mom gets well. I know she will, she was in a much more dangerous state the first time she ever had an episode. She's a fighter.

I'll truly miss, even if it's just for a few days or weeks, the friendly banter, the joking texts, and all the things we constantly talk about regarding our lives together. Although I feel like in some way I abandoned her, she's in much better hands to get better and come back to us soon.

    20230402_174341.jpg

I love you Stephanie, and we will be here waiting for you.

Even if I'm skirting around some UL grey area? We're definitely not following component spacing guidelines

You guys got this :fistbump: You and Steph especially have been through a lot these last few months and it's understandable the stress has taken it's toll, she will get better and she'll understand what you had to do to help her and to do what's best for Theo, and yourself.

Looking forward to heading up there this weekend, we'll hang out and I'll bring my 4runner LBJs...maybe we can wrench on it a bit if there's time haha

If it doesn't require a UL sticker, sure. Majority of what we do isnt UL stamped. Only if the customer wants it.

Their loss. I am all for hidden compartments.
Thanks! It's extra bitter sweet with the RR in the shop with a $6600 bill coming at us. Is what it is I suppose.
They aren't a lot of money so if you ever take the plunge, you won't regret it. Surprisingly spacious inside and no weight make them super fun. Plus, my favorite door closing sound of any car I've experienced. Weird kink but ya.
Honestly I think the R56 was the last good looking mini. They got too big and swoopy after it.
I think that the older R53 would be the better car honestly. I will say the sound of the turbo motor just isn't as cool even if it is waaay more fuel efficient. I'm sure they can be modified for more turbo noise but that whine of the supercharger is just so cool. Nonetheless, this car is a hoot to drive and handles amazing. It's a raw driving experience that all enthusiast should get to experience.
    One million dollars
