Putting some feelers out:

3rd Gen BAMF Hybrid front bumper. Low center hoop w/ 2 aluminum bash plates. Powder coated. Never installed. $1,350 (with powder coating it’s over 1500 before shipping) in and around Eugene.

 

Not mine. 4Runner/FJ Kibbetech UCA's. Not Tacomas. Believe it or not, $650 is a killer deal. Wish they fit a Tacoma.

 

Not mine. Free 3rd gen BA bumper brackets. These are needed for most aftermarket bumpers and hitches, on 3rd gens that didn't come with a hitch.

Haven't seen that brand before. That looks better than most. I like the little gable dormer that pops up for the tent roof.

 

The weight though . . .

0.125in thick aluminum is pretty darn thick.

 

I cant remember what my drifter was but sounds about the same. It wasn't bad all said and done it was around 400# without a build out.

Ive seen these guys on the scene for a bit but havent seen any in the wild. They do have some cool features.

 

It looks pretty good as does the idea of fully welded, but 1/8in sounds pretty darn thick. Half of that sounds more reasonable assuming that there are gussets and such. I could be very wrong though.

You're right about the drifter though. 1/8in 5052 sheet.

Of course, cost, availability, and such could drive things more than gauge and overall weight.
