The only thing that may make me a 1%er is I don't have a credit card. After many years of my pops drilling into my head (Ryan if you can't afford something you don't fucking get it. Do you get it.) And after a lot of bonehead mistakes I finally get it.

Exactly this. Everybody keeps seeing the bling bling on the new 4th Gen without thinking about the most important thing in buying a Toyota , "reliability" I don't care if the new Taco has 350 lbs of torque if the damn thing is going to break at 15k miles its useless. I wish good luck to those Guinea pigs that buy the 1st year of this gen.

I wonder if it will come with some lift, and if it will need to have the Needle Bearing replaced or not?

Red looks cooler in the mall parking lot. Why do we even need rear tow hooks? Isn’t there going to be a trailer hitch right next to them?

It's standard ARB design practice. A few OEMs do it too. Not sure who started it. Jeep has turned the tow hooks into a styling element - red for Rubicon/Trailhawk, blue for hybrid, bronze for 392, etc.

The turd gen Colorado Z71 has red tow hooks poking through an airdam, as posted earlier:

A credit card has more uses than just spending money you don’t have.

Especially security. Someone spends money from your checking account it takes forever to make it right. Credit card is much less of a pain in the ass.

Also the points are beneficial. We use points to stay in hotels for free and also plane tickets.

Shit I forgot about all the points..... Not saying everyone is like this but I feel the amount of people who pay off their card every month is slim. I don't really care what others do with their money or the card company money. And for the guy making 300k a year is a 1% not me. I just refuse to pay out extra money I don't have to. I am not looking for an argument I just stated something and someone else had a smart ass answer to. Sorry for getting off topic
Are Credit Card Points Worth It?
Here’s how it goes: A credit card lender gives you a credit card to use (with a credit limit, of course). And depending on the terms of your credit card, you earn up to a certain number of points per transaction. The more money you spend, the more points you rack up. Once you hit a certain amount of points, you can trade those puppies in for some kind of reward.

Don’t let credit control your life! Learn the proven plan to win with money.

Sounds simple enough, but there’s always a catch, right? The thing is, those points and prizes are all determined by the banks and credit card companies. And Discover and Mastercard aren’t handing out free stuff because they’re super generous.

It’s actually the opposite: They know if they can convince you to play the points game, you’re more likely to rack up a higher balance and pay them more in credit card interest.

Trust us, they’ve done all the research, and they wouldn’t waste their time handing out rewards if it didn’t ultimately make them richer. In fact, the credit card industry was valued at over $100 billion in 2020—and it’s expected to reach $107.69 billion in 2025.1

So, what does all this mean for you? It means the odds aren’t in your favor. And going after credit card points isn’t worth the risk of forking over a whole lot more money in the long run.

It’s kind of like gambling in a casino. Sure, you may win every now and then, but how much did you lose in the process? And how many people had to lose big for you to cash in? The house (in this case the credit card company) always wins.

Yes they very well could be but by this here...Most people don't and that's all I was getting at paying interest when you don't have to I priced a new Tacoma online and it was like 10% So I will keep my 18 for a few more years.
How much credit card debt do Americans have? Americans' total credit card balance is $986 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to the latest consumer debt data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York

I didn't say that and I also said I am not looking for an argument I really don't care how much or little debt people have. I myself after being in the payment trap for a long time realized I didn't want that anymore. Sorry for going off on a tangent. I will keep it to 4th gen related stuff.

    A few.
Could end up being like the Jeep Gladiator with 2 top trims. Rubicon for slow rock crawling and Mojave for high speed desert.

I imagine that a lot of people are slapping those mods on a credit card.

    Definitely.
Credit card for all online purchases. If it gets hacked I don’t care. It’s not my money.

Was just agreeing with @Turd Ferguson that there is going to be a tow hitch right next to the hooks. Not commenting on their necessity or usefulness
