    Gizmo is a almost 3 yr old german shorthaired pointer/lab mix. It has been a rough year for him, tore both ACL's in his back legs and had plates put in to hold his bones together. :( Still runs fast as hell though. Lucky for us he can't jump the fence anymore lol.

    you can see mine in my profile pic, He's 3 now and he's a total mut, I got him from an ex-girlfriends parents farm when he was 8 weeks old. best guess is 1/2 border collie, 1/4 husky and 1/4 german shepheard. Which basically means he is smarter/stronger/more athletic than me in every way possible. Good thing he'll do anything for a frisbee

    I do use bark collar when they are on tie outs in the woods,Keeps the woods peaceful and they dont get wound up till its time to hunt.Also works good on the old lady when she starts to bitch!!!!:devil:

    We have the shock collar with a low beep and a range of 'stun' settings.* Dog knows the beep is a warning. The shock makes him come back every time right away.


    *Charlie the Lab learned how to climb the fence this winter and we needed to keep him safe.
