Obviously you can't compare to a number you don't have a comparison to. My point is that if you start one run at 1500 and another run at 2500 then 3500 is still comparable between the two.

Again, there are corrections. You can't always do invasive engine mods in the same day. Guys don't do all their LS can swaps right there on the dyno. You have to have corrections, even difference between morning and afternoon will change the results. Point being 18ftlb isn't a difference from one day to another, my truck doesn't change by 18ftlb from Monday to Friday.

Figured I'd get all the info in here. Here are the dynos from the FB post linked above.

As discussed above, yes... these charts are annoying. The Stock chart only starts at 3500rpm, where as the modded chart starts at around 2750rpm. Very annoying given this prevents any direct comparison in the lower rpm range, isn't that exactly the whole point of this mod!? Perhaps cutting off before 3500 on the stock chart was intentional?

It also wouldn't be difficult to for them to get the raw data of both runs and place them on a single chart.

Thanks for the pictures, FB was being terrible

Dang, the dyno shows the two runs were less than 45 minutes apart. Did they swap that over that quickly?

From reading the install, yes, I think you could get the spacer on in around 30mins (says me who's never done anything like that before).

I would still love to see before and after dynos that start at the same rpm, specifically showing lower rpm given it's making the torque more available low down that's meant to be the value proposition of this product, seems madness showing an 'after' dyno that starts at 2750 rpm, and also not showing me what stock looks like until 3500rpm onwards.

You can't compare a dynapack that measures at the hub to a Mustang dyno. Mustang dynos are going to read lower.

And for everyone asking for a low RPM pull chassis dynos don't work that way. They're typically not accurate until at the lowest 2800ish RPM but usually higher than that.

Just one of dozens of examples here on the forum. I’m not making any comparison.

Yes, Shawn is amazing and well prepped before the 1st run. I would buy a product from him just because of how professional and organized he was!!

    The tire oscillation alone :(

Hub dyno or a low profile tire on 15" rims would have been so much better to capture but alas NOT real world at all.

Dude hey it is worth it. I'm definitely happy customer . Made enough improvement for me to justify the price . Like they state better lower end trq and I have better acceleration

I did do Dyno but I failed to get my gl tune flashed . The day I did Dyno , I also had to work that day . Next Dyno run will be a day I take off from work that way no rushing . Also want to add that I'll be running non ethonal 92 octane on next Dyno . That be the day I post results .

I've read most of your messages . I have talked to my buddy that just bought a new Tacoma and I've told him I need at least two stock tires from him for the next Dyno. Looks like you guys would like to see some lower rpms on the Dyno. My local Dyno shop now that I'm aware of , they have a Dyno jet. I'm new to Dyno so bare with me . I will take many of your suggestions and try to implement them in my next Dyno runs . I have a busy schedule coming up so when I can get a open Friday and a day off work I'm gonna make sure gl file is flashed, have two stock tires , do a Dyno run with my 35's for comparison and gains . My first Dyno I was total newb. So bare with me I would like to share results . This is the Whole point I'm doing this . Get numbers to the public , from my build , oh and of course all the snake oil I have in my truck lol.

No, it’s still a Tacoma and slow and underpowered. Perfectly adequate for a lot of tasks but not powerful or quick.

some people really need to look into the effects of intake runner length. lengthening them with a spacer should absolutely lower the torque curve. but also this is a give and take deal. your sacrificing high rpm power for thism considering theres many people that have never gone over 4000rpm in their truck at all then this can definitely be worthwhile.
