Good idea! I’ll have to look into a better place for the tether.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    That's the best feeling.

I've been running around all day today for work. Couple signing appointments in the morning, another one around noon, ran to 2 county recording offices, and will be leaving soon for another signing appointment. My favorite work days are the ones where I'm constantly running around, because that effectively means I'm getting paid to ride haha. livin the dream!

Thought it was gonna be colder than it is, so I wore a longsleeve under my winter jacket today. Riding was fine, but I was sweating bullets as soon as I got off the bike.

Yeah, Alexa said it was likely to rain today, so I rode to work with my raingear on... no rain to be seen.

That sounds a lot cheaper than $50 for 3 sheets that are 12x18. If only there were a place that did that within a hundred miles.

Do you just use carnauba wax?

The tank bag I want has a base that goes on with straps and the bag itself is zipped to it. It's a nice sounding feature because you can half unzip it and flip the bag for fueling. Thing is, once I get it on there, I don't think I want to mess with the straps for the base if I can avoid it. I'm leaning toward one of two paths.
    1. Be lazy and let the paint suffer, because it's my bike and I can.
    2. PPF so I fight the straps as little as possible.
Option one is cheaper and easier, and I'm sure I'm going to drop this bike anyway. Option two is probably what I should do.

Nope. Hundred miles away. The price I pay for not dealing with people. I'm ok with it.

General rule for where I live; if you've heard of it then it's nowhere near me. :p Over 30 miles to get to anything that people have heard of, and 100 miles from most stuff.

Someday. Need to pick up the bike first, and I'm too chicken for interstate travel just yet. I'm starting from the ground up.

Literally what I was about to say.

I’ll add one thing though - you’re overthinking this, bud. Riding is about freedom and learning and winning every ride you survive. Just get out there and have fun.

edit to add: Sounds like Wyoming is a fantastic place. Can’t wait to get back to Alaska.

I'm thinking about it very little, but it's a slow night at work and poking around on the forum keeps me awake.

On a slow day, same for me. The nights are usually quieter so I need them and something like music or videos in the background. Plus, I enjoy this thread a bunch. Cool bikes and friendly advice from people with way more experience than I have, but without the dick-ish "you need a liter bike or you're a girl" type of crap. It's been a great find for me. :)

Just because we don’t have a dick-ish attitude doesn’t mean you don’t need a liter bike :luvya:
