5k was the max for me when I bought my Taco. I was expecting 3k so I was happy.

Except there wasn’t any politics being discussed.
The topic was credit and finances:

I said that credit cards are not good for young adults, then when challenged, I used the fact that people want to forgive student debt as an example reason why young people are not financially responsible. Loans are a similar financial mechanism. That’s a fact. Young people want student debt forgiveness. That’s also a fact.

    That’s not “political.”

Then my opinion, which is people should pay their shit…shouldn’t be “political.”

It’s just sound advice, but others are free to do what they want with their money. As long as it doesn’t come back to me.

While you were playing "Presidential Election Debate Moderator", I answered your comment that was on blast, by filling in the complete timeline for you. Then you quoted me, you did NOT quoted me before that BLAST. You are most welcome.

that is an excellent idea! I am going to use my Costco CC for my down payment as much as they will let me. Then just pay off the CC the next day.

Hopefully they make the hybrid available to multiple trim levels and not only the PRO and Trailhunter. I’d like another TRD Off Road but with the hybrid turbo, full size cab and 6’ bed if I can swing it.

Along with the front locker I'd love to see a 4 auto setting. Does Toyota offer this on any vehicle?

Yup it’s seems like it’s going to be like that with the carbon neutral regulations. More power with less, why not!?

The 4Runner Limited has a nice system that uses a Torsen center diff in place of the 2 speed transfer case. It can also be locked into 4WD High and 4WD low range. Pretty sweet.

    Another pressing topic:
Tundra pumps in fake V8 noise thru the speakers.

Can we also expect the Gen4 Tacoma to pump fake GR V6 noises through its speakers?

I don’t really agree but understand the logic...I was owner of
86 turbo (ifs and turbo new), no issues
89 redesign and second year V6, no issues
05 Tacoma. Only issue I had was head gasket on the 05 and I understand that motor was a few years old in 4Runner and issue went into year 2008?

I also read a report recently that said 05 Tacoma is most reliable of all the years. (Head gasket was a bit pricey!, but clickin in at 255k with min issues otherwise).

Either way I will again be an early adopter and eagerly awaiting the new truck as excitement is there. Fingers crossed!
