Crawled underneath with the hose to wash out winters crap.
Living in the rust/snow belt I do it every spring.
Also gave it a good wash job.IMG_1106.jpg

Picked this up.... too bad it's going to be a few weeks before I have the time to install it all and I have to redo some of my accessory wiring first to accommodate it.

The same shit everyone else has.
    Fuck this thing ….

    upload_2023-4-12_22-41-33.jpg

I blasted a giant hole in the woods on Sunday and knocked the alignment out of whack.
Went to reset it to - I have the cams marked - and found this.

No wonder the cam was loose.

Luckily I was able to chase a set of 1/2-13 threads on to it as a temporary fix.

    upload_2023-4-12_22-50-33.jpg

I ordered a replacement cam already.

I may look into doing a set of Taco Tabs or something eventually, but truthfully this is the first time I’ve had an issue with the alignment cams.

    I do use woolwax.
That why my frame looks so good after 8 Pa winters.

I hope so for the cost.

They seem to be more popular with jeep and raptor owners but they all rave about it. On the fly adjustable active control shocks.

3rd and hopefully final ham radio antenna relocation. Nice little bracket from GFC.

I do not enjoy pulling wire through the underside of the truck! Worst part was seeing some of the work I had done that was not so hot. If this truck was younger I would want to rewire it all. Sigh!

I always use my steel RCI skids to lift it. Never had an issue.

Not today but Sunday I did an oil change and trans flush before we hit the road. After that we towed our trailer from MN to southern CO to start our new life on the road. Got a nice site on Trinidad Lake for a few days for the girlfriend to work before we move down into New Mexico for a couple weeks then on to Arizona.

Well... Its about 4000 lbs fully loaded so flat isn't an issue. We were averaging 10.8 mpg from MN to NE. On Tuesday we were encountering 15 to 25 mph head winds threw Kansas and Southern CO which dropped us to about 6mpg and I was hardly able to get out of 3rd. Climbing hills in Co it likes to rev and not accelerate. I think a re-gear would help a lot. Or a Tundra but I'm not ready to give up the Taco yet.
