Is the Gen 4 expected to have the biggest increase in available engine power and torque in the history of Toyota compact and mid-sized pickups?

Yep, it needs to in order to compete with the new Colorado and Ranger.

I’m curious to see how Toyota stays competitive with pricing. I imagine it would go up but by how much. You could build a 2023 4x4 Colorado Trail Boss w/out options for like 39k in my area. It’s almost on par with the 3rd gen MSRP. I’m gonna guess 41K for Sport and Off-road Trims

The main shit show with prices are the dealer mark ups. They opting for a quick buck than a long customer relationship.

What ever, as long it’s an option for the customer to mess with or turn off if required.

Seems like it. Dunno what the supercharged V6's numbers are though.

Yes, I charge everything possible on my VISA and pay off the balance at the end of the month. These points are allowing me to fly to SE Asia in June for 57 dollars in business class. Then there is the nice Elinchrom flash I bought with points.

Maybe a nice bump in torque, but I doubt much different HP numbers for the standard Turbo 4 compared to the current 3.5.

I wouldn't be surprised by even a drop in HP for the middle of the road motor/basic motor. Torque up though for sure.

Yep, I think the Highlander Turbo 4 is around 265 HP, so it wouldn't be a shock to see the next Tacoma have a slight drop.

I bet the ARB tow hook wasn't on the display truck and Toyota photoshopped it in:

Also the spare on the display truck is the current Goodyear Adventure.

The Colorado ZR2 trim has had a front locker since it came out in 2018. I had to have one for the badass factor, but I've only used it once and probably could have got by without it then. It's great if you do serious crawling though.

Hey please stop posting pics of the 4th gen truck and lets get back to essays on why or why not credit cards are bad.

Ah that's very cool. Yeah, for what I'm doing with a new truck it isn't going to need a front locker. I can't bring myself to even go through those huge mud puddles while I still owe something. Is why I have 4wheelers. If it breaks I can still get to work and is cheaper to work on.

Does the tacoma utilize more of the Horsepower or the Torque? I had an older model Toyota pickup, an 81 I believe. Didn't have a lot of horsepower but could nearly climb a tree. I'm guessing that was how it was geared?

Not trying to argue here, but trying to learn. I think of a tractor has low horsepower but can haul a house.
