Updates for anyone who wants the reality of this shit.

-Got new turbine housing and it is questionably small. Found a really good turbo guy in Al of all places @workturbo and he is sending me a ceramic coated housing w v band inlet so I can fit the big turbo.
-GT45 ebay special is cooked. Think the ex side journal bearing is toast (may be from lack of oil priming at start up on my part). makes boost but burns oil.
-Trans is doing weird clunking shit going from neutral to reverse and making funny vibrations. (scared to drive far til I diagnose)
-Factory GM power steering reservoir is OBVIOUSLY not big enough cause it keeps coming out of cap. (got a psc w filter for $194 thanks to poly performance and/or psc making a mistake on their website! score!). sr146k which is the same as the sr146 only has all kinds of extra shit for $70 less. https://www.polyperformance.com/psc...hcu0fZBnlBbk8iMX5-81J2oWBtxRlQo4aAhVREALw_wcB

-Waiting for a resonator to run my exhaust. (trying to support local small biz slows things down)
-Hood won't latch cause support is all gone. Problem for future me.
-Master cylinder bore (old gm style is 1 1/8 and the factory one is 1 7/16 I think causing the brake to be harder than I like and it leaks fluid out top (thanks for a possibly faulty product trail gear) bought for 3.4 originally.
-Steering wheel off center and needs to be pulled to be straight.
-Makes 4lbs of boost prob cause wastegate spring is 4lb
-Open exhaust is annoying and truck seems slow by ls turbo standards. Only been to about 4k rpm on boost. Feels like a diesel truck with a tuner.
    -Front diff gasket leaks.
-Power steering pump pulley wobbles and prob ruined pump cause it squeaks

Sounds like you got a line on the turbo and your PS Res.
    Hood Latches.
See if Lube Locker carries a gasket for your front diff.
Slowness may just be lack of tuning. You might be running lean or rich and losing power or timing may not be 100%. (I'm no expert tho)
Only way to know about the trans and ps pump is to pull em out and look I'd guess. :notsure: Can you get someone to listen to it while you shift and pinpoint if its trans or t-case?

Actually figured out today that the trans issue was a combination of low fluid due to the aftermarket dipstick I assume being off. Added a quart and helped the reverse vibration a lot. Had my step bro video the under carriage and the rear axle is flexing a lot and the suspension sags so the antiwrap bar should fix all that thank god. Didn't feel like pulling the trans.

Gonna deal with diff leak next week. It seems like it is actually chillin so it should be fine till first oil swap. Ill try silicone vs the paper bullshit gasket.

Got my upper link back from powder coat spot so can use the old one for anti wrap. Prob do that tomorrow.

    IMG_7206.HEIC.jpg IMG_7207.HEIC.jpg

Timing is def a huge issue. I added some today and it made a huge difference.

Blew out hydroboost again. Prob from too much pressure and no place for fluid to go. Have to throw some new seals in that.

Going to auto zone to pick through MC reservoirs this weekend to hopefully find one that meets this criteria. lol

    IMG_7208.HEIC.jpg

This is the housing I got sent to swap to v band. no bueno.

Lol... The positive is that all these stupid problems are forcing me to change things for the better. Got brakes figured out today. The master cylinder I was using just didn't work for some reason. Threw a diff one in and the pedal is perfect with good travel. So, ordered one I think I can use and gonna swap.

Prob one of the shittiest things of all is the fact that the 14" coils I have are prob gonna have to be changed to 16's. I just measured and im at like 24 1/4 frame height with no winch and no people in truck. Would like 2" higher honestly. I think 25.5 to 26 is an ideal height for my setup. Unless I redo bottom mounts but don't want to do that.

In the driveway my fabrication rate doubles and my paint rate doubles, then quadruples. Plus the emulsions I have are not the best. Remote res setup would be a big improvement Im sure.

If I just throw a 16 in there will I get 2" height out of it??

Total Flow. Those are 10” t-304 resonators and the “diesel” 304 muffler.

Lol. Too loud still. Have to do a double 45 over the crossmember and then gonna try the diesel style round muffler but may have to go to a dual chamber. I want the thing to be stealth. Right now it idles like a classic annoying american v8. Exhaust is surprisingly hard to get perfect.

Got the brakes perfect finally thanks to a good ole astovan hydroboost master cylinder. Have to rebuild the hydroboost again cause old MC was so hard to engage it was blowing seals.

Round 3 on hydroboost. Ended up being the plunger seal again. Finally got the touch on getting plunger in w out damaging it. Kinda tricky.

Anti-wrap bar started. Decided to tig. Took 4 passes to fill in the .250 wall dom. Stupid. Other than the floor board being setup for a Flinstone she is ready for a real drive and break in/or break down trip on the open roads once antiwrap is in.

New turbine housing came. Now gotta redo all that shit and make my Australian LC sealed air box and snorkel. That is gonna get 100% of my attention and should be really nice.

Trying to build some lag into that system? Suppose you wouldn't want the turbo to light up too easily got to make it work for it
