    I have a brute force fab high clearance coming soon and have been debating how I want to hang my tire from it. I’m thinking about remaking the tailgate completely from tube steel and sheet metal to conserve space for the tire holder. Not huge on the footprint swing outs have.

    Also considering making it possible to not only swing out but fold down as well depending on the logistics and weight of the thing.

    anyone made a tailgate replacement? Curious how I could tie it in to the existing bed/bumper...

    Also- My spare is a full size 35”
