Help with front blinkers (inside of headlights)- not blinking but mirrors and rear blinkers work.

What I've done in the past.
installed LED running light/blinkers from this site that change from white to orange. (they used to blink i think)
installed diode dynamics flasher relay to stop hyper blinking.

noticed the other day that my fronts no longer blink, however my mirrors and rears still work.

installed a replacement diode dynamics flasher relay but that did not fix it.
changed back to factory bulbs. still did not flash.

Has anyone ran into this or am i crazy and the fronts never blinked?

Since you have replaced the flasher with the aftermarket unoit and then again with another aftermarket flasher. Did you try the OEM Flasher module?

Does the fronts blink with the Emergency Flashers turned on?

Get a meter and check for voltage at the turn signal bulb connector. If you don't get voltage when the turn signal is on then you need to go backwards in the circuit until you locate the problem.

I am assuming that you have DRL (Daytime Running Lights). Does the DRL's work?

Everything is pointing to the Flasher Control Unit it seems.

Do you have a meter to check voltages?

I'm betting you have the wrong flasher relay installed, there are 2 different ones.
If you have DRL and/or the Towing Package it uses the 12 pin relay which to my knowledge nobody makes an LED version of, if you don't have DRL or the Tow Package it uses the 8 Pin relay.

When you put the stock bubls back in make sure to re hook up the stock relay. I know the newer one and depends which one may be for LEDS not the others. not sure if it would have caused issues.

On mine I disconnected the DRL one and have the Diode in there to get the features. Periodically it doesnt work and always though it was the flasher but since you replaced that we can rule that out.

Diode does make a flasher module but you cant have DRL at the same time. I assume i have the 12 pin version but it does remove the DRL.

DRL on 2nd gens uses the front flasher bulbs not the headlights.
If the switch has a DRL off position the the truck was originally equipped with the 12 pin flasher.
