Thanks Susan. I feel like a little kid that just got his first tricycle :D. The Missus keeps telling me to slow down, take it easy so I don't get hurt. But it is fun:thumbsup:
Pics of the pins in the toes and one screw holding the ligament in place.

Go see the surgeon on the 25th and see how long I'll have the pins in.

How have ypi been doing? Afib still under control? Take care and be safe.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Well, another trip to one of the Lowe's for (3) more 12x12 concrete pavers to cut in half for the rain barrel riser saga. Bigger than I surmised. One of the two is here, and it's a long and frustrating story. Anyway, do that, and get to work. Have not crossed much Putz off the list this week.
Condolences to you and your family @knayrb .

Good morning all. Thanks for the kind words over the past week about my mother. You all are great people.

We are starting to see all the water coming down from the mountains. There is over 20" of water in the snow just sitting on the mountain slopes. Flooding is starting in some areas. Up the street at the mouth of the canyon the city has dumped 4 huge mountains of sand and hundreds of sand bags along with lots of pallets. They have put out a request to help fill and stack them on pallets. I walked up yesterday afternoon and put in a couple of hours until my back told me to quit. They had about 100 people show up and by the end of the day all the sand was gone. The creek by me isn't running super high yet but it has potential to really get angry. My house isn't in a place where I'm in danger but there are $3+ million dollar homes that could be in trouble by the end of the week. I know the country club golf course is worried because it's on the edge of the creek. I don't want anyone's property to be damaged but I do find the angry creeks interesting to watch.

Stay safe and have a great day.

Be safe on that scooter or you'll be in a wheelie chair. Those pins, I have no words, except ouch. Doing well, still under control, 13 days and counting.....

I like watching rivers, too. It's amazing how much damage water can do. Not to see the damage, but how much power it has and we can't control it

Final panels are up, system is ready for inspection. Of course, it will take about a week to get PPL to do the inspection (tomorrow) and then generate the paperwork and complete it. We should be hot by next week this time.

Yeah, wheelie chair [IMG] be careful.

Thank you. I've been counting days for about 2 years, but went back and figured out the rest.... longest stretch was 510 days and shortest was 43

It is not fun and games when a creek overflows the banks. My parents lived 1/4 mile from the local creek and I have seen water in the backyard from the creek during hurricane conditions.

Good morning. Off to the gym then going to pick up a sandwich for lunch with my lunch partner. He is not doing well at all. Parkenson's sucks. Tonight, it is open mic night at a favorite restaurant on the water. Going to be a busy day.

Good morning all. Going to play golf today. The weather forecast changed into the mid-forties for a high. Not fun for golf but it has to be done. :)

    Have a great day.

Happy Friday all, enjoy the day.
I'm glad I'm not a teenager anymore. Back in those days it wasn't just Friday it was"get fried-day" well off to a busy day get keys to my part time job, gym and possibly the chiropractor. With a few other things groceries and bike shop. Trying to decide if I want to upgrade my Cannondale, many new changes to them since I got it. It was the first bike shop bike I ever owned. Was a huge difference from box store bikes.
