I've been looking at a lot of shelving lately so it stood out haha. Nice that you get to park in there on rainy days though

Plates finally showed up for the RR today, but sadly it's been at the shop the last week and will be for a few more....

The final quote for the repairs were $9500 :puke:

She's a beaut Clark. Hoping I'll get some seat time in the JDM one my cousin won, when it's on the market I may just drop the AMG.

My truck doesn't want to stay planted anymore even with 35x12.5s at relatively low boost

We cut it down a bit but yeah there were a few non-negotiable items. The windshield wipers weren't functioning properly. So it needed a complete switch assembly, 5hrs labor and parts totaling $1600. The oil leak was $900 to repair. The big blow was the coolant pipes seeping. A weak point for those engines. Redesigned parts are a forever fix but parts are hard to find and 12hrs labor is well over $3k. Add in some other PM like belts and bushings and it it adds up. It sucks, it's expensive but honestly once it's done the truck should be rock solid. It's super smooth and comfortable. It's luxurious and has an iconic look. It has 4x4 and a decent towing rating and trailer brake controller already installed. Sound system rocks and you feel like a badass driving it so it makes it easier to swallow knowing we will have comfortable truck at the end. And did I mention it has a tailgate!? Will we see a return on the investment, probably not, but it's not as terrible as depreciation on a new car so there's worse decisions to be made.

Hey anybody with poly leaf bushings... What kind of lube do you use to quiet down their squeaking/groaning? I have silicone, Teflon, pb blaster, and WD40 on hand

It's times like these... And most others, that I'm happy to have the house all to myself. Wiring on the living room floor is more fun.

    Easy.

    Prothane Super Grease.

Recommend it so much I've sent several packets out to multiple members on here.

    Think I gave @Wulf and @Abeyancer some?

I used it myself on my leaf pack in the Tacoma (OME leaf pack), lower control arm bushings (Whiteline), panhard bar bushings (whatever Sonoran Steel uses), and rear lower control arm bushings (whatever Resz Fab uses).

Thanks! I think I'm set for the most part. I needed to find where to tap in for the new IAT sensor and change out the pigtail for the ECT. And rerouting some wires so i can try my AC idea. I'm hoping it works, otherwise it'll just be stuck on when I'm doing hard pulls if I don't shut it off manually. The stock system turns off the AC under a lot of different circumstances
