I seen awhile back in the thread you were back and forth on the color I’m assuming you’re happy with the switch?

Yeah, I have had my cement 4R for almost 6yrs, and still love it. I also had a 17 tacoma pro in cement as well.:D The only two colors I even considered when deciding to get another tacoma was white and lunar rock. So yes, I have always liked lunar rock since I saw the first pics of the 4R pro in that color. If you like cement then it the next best thing.

Didnt have an option, wanted to get back into factory warranty and LR was closest, I think its the best color currently, but if I could have got Cement new again I would have, but I dont hate my Lunar Rock like the SWs I had and get tons of compliments on it and offers to buy it, apparently its still a more rare color.

Same we’ve had our 17’ Pro 4Runner cement for 6yrs as well, it’s a sweet SUV and love that color. I was either white or lunar as well. I’ve had two super white tacomas but was considering a wind chill pearl to switch it up a bit. Always see white trucks though. Seen a few Tacomas in the lunar on FB, creeped through this thread and decided this was it.

Nice! My wife thinks I am nuts getting the lunar rock. She says but it looks just like your 4R. We happened to see a lunar rock 4R pro driving to my brothers house on easter Sunday, so the whole family got to see what the color looks like in the flesh. Yeah white could be considered boring to some, but I have always have loved the bare bones look of a white tacoma, or older hilux.

    Stock. For now.
I wish it was more rare. I was at an intersection the other day and there were three of us with LR Tacomas. All at a different corner.

It does not seem as rare as the cement tacoma's though. Looking at dealer website's and the Toyota inventory search, sure seems like a lot are being made in the lunar rock color. I just don't seem to see that many cement tacoma's anymore. However, my neighbors son down at our house in TN does has a sport in cement. LoL.

Cement was everywhere when it was still available, my dealer had them lined up, it seems more rare now because you'd have to find a used one. Cement was from 2018-2021, LR has only been out since 2022 in all trims. I think its your mind like now you notice more or less. Trust and look at guys trying to allocate LR, they are harder to come by especially in OR form.

I think its a region thing. When I lived in AZ, there were a million Cements. Here in AL I've seen one other LR OR in the BHAM area.

Thanks! Valid points! I have been trying to remember how long they offered the cement after the pro in 17.

Ya it’s boring but I agree it’s just a classic look on a Tacoma. Always liked the storm trooper look but you see a lot of black on white. I’m still gonna put the black sema wheels on the Lunar though and match the wife’s 4Runner. Always thought those wheels looked good and keep things oem looking

I love my LR but yes I would have honestly gotten cement if it was offered on the ‘22’s.

No way I'd take cement over LR! I had a white 1st gen or, I'm over that. Would take Cavalry Blue over LR if it was an option, but that's just me. I see way more cement that LR here but I bet that will change as they age.

It was a couple days after yeah, and will maybe settle a bit still. I am installing about 500lbs on the bed, with a Project M four wheel camper in the next month or so. I expect the rear to droop about an inch or so.

Forgot to mention the UCAs are Accutune and they definitely helped move the front wheels forward to avoid the cab mount. No rubbing yet, but haven't flexed the setup properly. Ill trim as needed.
