I think the quality on the Smock is top notch. It's one of the smoothest/most fun flippers I own. However, there is a weak spot on the knife in my opinion. The push button lock (pic 1 and 2) has a tiny, exposed spring behind it that is just begging to get damaged or jammed up or clogged by something. I will try to get a pic of it and post it up.

I know, and that's why I didn't have a problem trying them out. But I have a Spyderco Cat that had some workmanship issues on the liner lock that were unlike the quality of any of the Colorado knives I've owned. I'd be happy to know that it was a one-off issue because I don't typically like to paint with a broad brush on these kind of things.

    That’s a nice gift.

I just sent one of my ProTech Malibus in to Way Of Knife to have some custom work done. If you don’t know them, definitely give them a look. Their prices are lower than I would have expected and you can have a fully customized knife.

I inherited this knife from my uncle after he passed. He machined it himself. I sharpened it a little, polished it a tad, smoothed the handle, and "stained" the wood with WD-40.

    Not a knife exactly........

But a Scottish Highland Regiment sword passed from my father to my mom who passed it to me after she passed in March.
It's actually quite heavy, and balance would be an issue if you actually had to wield it. Very much more a ceremonial item, but still impressive IRL.

I also have a highland Dirk and Sgain-Dubh each smaller respectively, but sharp as well.

A family member decided to change my checked-in luggage to carry on and my 940 Osbourne got confiscated at security, mainly my fault for forgetting and not transferring it to another checked-in luggage.

The 940 is my favorite folder so I had to get another one and decided to upgrade to the 940-1 with S90V steel to match my 535-3 Bugout.

I’ve lost knives at security , radio city music hall , the Vatican. I might be a slow leaner.
