I had never seen or heard of a Lucid before this. Was checking out the beautiful photography when I started to notice all the cars on the surrounding racks. That place is like a car guy's wet dream.

The lucid cars are incredible.

That's Westside Collector Car Storage, the brain child Matt Farah from The Smoking Tire. It's location is such that people at the tech companies can swing by and swap out for one of their other cars on lunch or whatever. I'm sure they have quite the assortment of cars in there since lots of owners with different preference and tastes have cars there. The notable one I see is the pink Porsche that is Matt's personal car. It's actually his second as the first one he ordered was onboard the infamous Felicity Ace that burned and sank at see a couple years ago.

Yup. Pretty sure that is the one. It has been a while since I've bounced off the limiter.

 

I got it just while starting your truck last time. But yeah, i got it to 4k last time before it ignition cut and got pissed

It's an automatic toyota with an engine that redlines at 5400rpm, shifts before 3k 99% of the time anyway haha. But yeah I've got a plan to dial it up now I think. Been a pain keeping the stock ECU around with a Haltech.

 

It was a little lower when we first did the setup. A new crank position sensor help but did not fix entirely. However, I am convinced there is a solution out there.

 

Peak power is 4800 and peak torque is 3600. I can see how a turbo could move peak power around but with the SC I would think once boost hits you are mostly raising the curve but until one of us gets on a Dyno it's all guessing.

 

Yeah you're probably right, curve shouldn't change shape much with the SC. I will have a few days of dyno rental in my near future, but that doesn't help much with the SC guessing.

 

So uh, wanna hook up your laptop later today and try changing a couple things later... might have an idea.
