Your truck had factory fogs? Could any wiring for the fogs been damaged due to the accident and repaired via a splice repair? Perhaps they tapped into the wrong harnesses?

This is a super odd issue that is not how the OEM things work, so something is for sure connected wrong.

It seems the installer added the fogs to the Parking(TAILS) circuit, however, there's a mystery on how the fog ON dash indicator works still.

yes factory fogs, then had a baja fog light kit worked fine.

At this point I agree that something is spiced wrong or connected wrong. The crazy thing is that the VLAND headlights are plug and play and as far as I can tell none of the main factory harness was touched.

this checks out, should the indicator not work if something was connected improperly?

The headlights should have been plug and play as far as i can find online. Cant seem to locate an instruction manual. The only plug that seems like could have been swaped are the high beam and low beam plugs, but they are working properly.

The indicator is tied to the fog switch position i.e fog switch off - no indicator, fog switch on - indicator on. High beams On - fog indicator off.
(Fog indicator ON after Tails are on)

correct, indicator lights are working as they should. My question was more along the lines if the fog indicator light would hyper flash like a blinker if something was wrong.

Indicator lets you know fog light circuit is selected and active. That is why when High beams are on the indicator turns off even though the fog switch is selected to on.

OP, have you verified that the fog select switch is off while selecting tails, low and high and checking fog indicator?

And the indicator still illuminates in all positions of the light stalk even though fog switch select is off?

Just tossing this out but since the new lights are LED and ECU/sensors in the truck are triggered by voltage levels, could this possibly be due to a bad or missing load resistor? I know that things act "weird" when there are floating lines in a circuit from my old electronics days and maybe the harness has an optional link that fixes all of this available? I'd try hard to find or download the manual and research that, or at least contact the light company for support.

So the switch is working with the indicator.

So now see if the fig lamps are working with the fog lamp circuit.

Remove the fog relay relay and see if the lamps shut off.

If they do, then you have a signal to the relay as an issue.

If they don't, then you either have a short to high on the fog lamp side or they are wired to a different circuit.
