you are wise man! Forrester Lifted (2" Lift) with offroad tires look bad ass. Also, it is much cheaper than a 4 Runner. As we all know, Subaru are KING when it comes to AWD "wagons", and they are Multiple World Rally Champion Racers.

lmao it’s Friday dude you shouldn’t be this on edge. Remember “expensive” it’s not the same for everyone. You can still get a raptor r, with a couple of Santa Cruz dh bikes in the bed while towing your canam maverick xrc :fistbump:

My wife had a Forester XT and traded it in for a 4Runner Off-road. The forester was the best vehicle we ever owned for snow driving. The only downside is it didn’t have enough room for a family of 4 and all the gear needed for weekend snowboard or camping trips.

My buddy bought a very nice Subaru Crosstrek, which is much smaller than a Forrester. It is very nice with a 2" Lift on it, and he has some nice after market wheels on it with some nice off road tires. He has a Big Roof Cargo Box on top, and a Cargo box on the Trailer Hitch. He too has a family of 4 that he takes snowboarding, and he seems to fit all the gear in just fine for a weekend of snowboarding.

pic of my buddy's subaru crosstrek, 2" life in the front, 1.5" in the back. He has the option to run a Cargo Trunk on top, as well as another Cargo Box on the Trailer Hitch.

I put a deposit on a Santa Cruz e-MTB. Are they any good? The price is up there but I prefer to buy quality and cry once.

I loved my '05 FXT. The '10 I also had was probably a "better" car, but that '05 felt amazing. My FJ that split them was far, far worse in the snow and it was an MT with the AWD. I'm a big fan of Subies.

All their years of rally racing allowed them to develop one of AWD systems. Haven’t found another Japanese manufacturer or domestic that can rival them in that department, except for the Germans, Audi Quattro is also excellent. The AWD and suspension on subies is always top notch. I find the rest of their cars cheap feeling compared to honda and Toyota though.

Can’t speak on their e bikes but I raced a v10 for years on the downhill circuit. They make some of the best frames in the industry in my opinion.

Agreed. If you wanted to hot dog it, the car would do whatever you asked. If you wanted to take it easy and be safe, the car just did that too. I spent Christmas Day in Chinatown in Chicago one year and there was virtually no parking anywhere. The only spot was on a slope next to a telephone pole that looked pretty scary, so I simply inched down the snowy covered slope and parked. Went to leave, and it simply walked right out lol. It was pretty impressive. My notoriously tightwad of a BiL said, "This is a good car, what is it?"

Agreed. I will say the '10 I had was a big improvement over the '05, but it just wasn't quite the same. The leather and plastics always felt second rate. That '05 had A LOT of "it's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru" type feeling. The '10 felt like it lost that charm and picked up some market gain gainz.

Newer ones may be better, I don't think I have ridden in a Subie since 2012 or so.

Be Careful! The "Presidential Election Moderators" are going to get MAD because you are going off topic by NOT talking Gen4 Tacoma's.

As for your Santa Cruz question, I have a 2021 Santa Cruz Bullit Gen3 (2023's are the exact same bike). It is the best bicycle I have ever owned, even DH'ing it seems better than my DH bikes. I also own a Santa Cruz BronsonV3 and SC MegatowerV2, as well as 2 DH bikes, and I prefer to DH with with Bullit than any of my bikes.

Almost certain it's going to be 6x139.7 with a 95.1 mm hub bore and M14x1.5 studs.

Bro those are some serious bikes/investment. I rode one a couple of years back that belonged to my neighbor and yes, it was top quality and performance.

That looks nice with the method wheels and aggressive tires.

I’d take any teaser Toyota was gonna offer right now. Even if it was a 4th gen rendering by a 4 year old….

just to try and get this thread back on topic :bananadead:

Any speculation of rear suspension travel? Would it be around current gen tundra/sequoia?
