Live in AK so thought it was the cold but it’s still doing it and getting worse since it has warmed up. I checked the battery at oreillys at it’s good and only 7 months old. Anybody have any thoughts on what they think the issue is?

Sounds rough, couple questions about the service history since this sounds like fuel/ignition problems. Ever run fuel injector cleaner? Were spark plugs replaced at the recommended 60k miles? Air filters clean? Possible bad batch of fuel? How long has it been doing this? Doesn't sound like an electrical issue from the video.

To me, I used to rebuild starters, alternators, and generators for a living, your cranking speed is good.
    Look at fuel and spark.

Thank for the obvious recommendation of referring to the maintenance schedule. I didn’t change the spark plugs at 60k so I’ll do that with other recommended items and see how it does. Thanks!

Slowly getting worse over 3 months. Never ran fuel injector cleaner. Air filter is clean. Since it’s been over a few months I presume fuel is good. Thank you for your thoughts.

My sister had my truck while I was in Korea for year and it was during the 55-60k range so I didn’t think to check those items!

GDI engines are harder on plugs... Old fashion tune up should do the trick. Plugs, some fuel injector cleaner (BG44K is great, worth the price), and you should be good to go. Let us know how you make out, hopefully easy fix...

PS, if you DIY, advanced auto parts carries the OEM denso, can usually get them cheaper than Amazon with a coupon if you sign up for emails.

    Thank you! And will do.

Yeah I try to. It’s quiet a bit cheaper up here.

Hello, I have the exact same issue and no garage seems able to find the reason. I already replaced: fuel pump, spark plugs, high pressure injectors (and clean the others), a pipe under the tank that looked broken and allow air to come in... Nothing worked.
Did you manage to find the reason and the solution?

My truck sounded just like that on startup. Issue was intermittent starting in November / December. Got worse and worse to the point that it didn't start in February. No codes or lights lit up on dash.

Dealer shrugged it off at a service appt in December. After the no start incident they had the truck over night and suspected an injector leak. Showed a misfure on 1, 3 and 6 but fuel pressure was fine and no fuel injector leak. Suggested it was bad fuel / water in the fuel. I was skeptical but after a number of fuel treatments the issue is no more.

I found STP Water Remover provided the most noticeable improvements over the basic gas line antifreeze sold at gas stations. Took 5 treatments over 4-6 weeks to clear up. Trucks starts great now.

Here the thread I started on the issue.
