Favorite Whiskey?

Good stuff right there. I had a bottle, it went quick. Spicy.

 

Solid pick. Will grab another at some point

 

Following that up with 45 % corn (1/2 the Mellow) 45% rye.

So much smoother, the Mellow Corn was good but the heartburn was on a Canadian Whiskey level.

 

I’m gonna have to pick this one up. I know it’s hard to find in some areas, but seems to be readily available where I’m at. I need to finish some bottles before I start buying again, but this is on the list. Haven’t had this one yet, but I’ve enjoyed their other bourbons.

 

For a second, I thought you were using the Glencairn as a slide!

 

Had a damn good time in KY. Was a quick trip, but made the most of it. 2 days in Louisville, then a day in Frankfort/Lawrenceburg at Four Roses and Buffalo Trace. Hit everything we wanted minus Old Forester, which was closed for renovations. Drank a lot, ate some delicious food, and grabbed a few bottles we’d never find in PA.

 

Saw a YouTube vid recommending this liquor store/tasting bar in Louisville, and I gotta say it was the highlight of the trip. Evergreen Liquors is a MUST, if you’re in Louisville. Ridiculous selection, and prices were lower than anywhere I’ve ever seen. Pappy pours for under $20. We drank, a lot. Ended up going back the following day so we could try more.

 

CYPB is single handedly the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Antique 107 was meh to me

I want to at least try a 12 year and Barrel Proof.

 

IDK man the tater infestation here is unreal (I realize the irony about searching for Weller, please humor me) and everything I’ve seen is you HAVE to know the store manager on a personal level/be a big game spender

 

Local TW had a case of JD SBBP on the shelf. A gift card from my coworkers took care of it & some Evan Williams for mixing.

 

Damn! I’m jealous.

 

I found this Kentucky Owl Takumi Edition for $100, but after looking up reviews, I wasn't sure enough to risk the money.

What's the consensus here?
