Got the female half of the connector that leads to the mirror wired up, waiting on terminals so I can do the male side. Seeing how I'm waiting on parts (kick panel still hasn't arrived), I guess I can find out where to drill the hole in the firewall for the grommet.

Can someone with a little more PC tech knowledge than me help me out?
I'm trying to do tests online and my internet connection keeps dropping out. It's wireless on my NUC mini PC. I'm about to plug in a cable and see if that helps.
Some days it just works with no issues.

Try rebooting the router? And wireless access point if they are separate.

Why does Amazon delivery during the day sucks and independent drivers who deliver later in the day are better?

I bought a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for my mini PC. Amazon said it was delivered a couple days later. The tracking has no picture and just says it was delivered to a safe place.
I ordered another keyboard/mouse and they both arrived at the same time. Did the driver lie and it was still on his/her truck? Now I need to return one of them.

Same thing with a spool of wire I just ordered. Never showed, said it was delivered. I ordered another one to see if it's the same issue as before.

    Good morning CT.

I was looking at a bunch of pictures online of Tacoma's in various stages of disassembly. I'm getting ideas on how and where to run my electrical when I do it.
Now I need to go outside and have a good look under the hood and take some notes/pictures. Planning before doing electrical is key.

I also may be in the market for some sliders. I drive a regular cab so my options are limited. I was leaning towards bolt on because I can't weld and I don't know anyone that does (at least good enough for sliders). I did however find these weld on sliders:

    They are 4XInnovations

$310.00 is a lot cheaper than fixing a dented rocker panel and door. The only thing is lead time is 3 to 4 weeks.

Went outside on this cloudy and dreary day and had a look under the hood and dash. There are grommets there that I can use to my advantage (don't know why I didn't see them before). One on the driver's side, and one on the passenger's side.
I'll use the driver side grommet for the antenna cable, putting the outside temp wires back where I had them. I'll use the passenger side grommet for the wiring for the switches in the cab (I will need to drill the hole larger).
The driver side hole is in a too difficult place to drill so that means I'll have to remove the radio and center console (again) so I can rewire the switches so the wires are headed to the correct side of the truck.

This makes what I wanted to do easier.

    Tried that again.
I got so fed up with it disconnecting (I'm trying to watch YouTube videos) that I went and got the 6 foot Ethernet cable that I'll be using for my GMRS and the adapter for it and now it's wired but temporarily.
Maybe the wireless card is bad?
    This is it wired.

For that price it's worth it even if you had to bring it somewhere and pay to get them welded I think
