I just ordered some tube steps for wife. Didn’t want the hang down ones. And she was none too keen on me bringing a round red kitchen stool for her. I told I would run around to her side like stagecoach driver. That idea fell flat.

 

The rail cleats. My 23 came with the instructions. They can go with the horns horizontal or vertical.

 

It’s the Seibon CF hood. Sorry for the late response, here are some more pics of it! A lot of times the hood looks black in photos, but in person the carbon fiber glistens pretty well.

 

Revisiting this post after getting some miles on the truck.

The truck has a reduced amount of wind noise at highway speed with these seals in place. Its actually pretty amazing how quiet the cab is now. Between the door seals, sound deadener and now these seals, this truck is super quiet.

 

Hoping to install these today when it stops raining….

So far it’s been great - sturdy and well made. Looking out the rear view mirror there are almost no obstructions (the cross bars hang juuuuuuust low enough to be visible). If you plan on mounting anything to the side of the rack, it’ll block your view into other lanes obviously. My only complaint was the hardware didn’t come powder coated like the rest of the rack.

 

love it been debating on doing it. are you planning on using hood pins?

Is there a difference in the wall durability if you use C or E tires?

 

here’s how it looks with cloth seats. I think the foldaway ones are still better however.

 

Decided to drop the tire size due to rubbing, went from 265/70R17 to 265/65R17 no more rubbing(uploaded the wrong photo)

 

Thinking about doing a similar bumper cut on my truck as I have the BA bumper as well...

Did you feel like the plastic up front became flimsy after? Did you have to secure it in some way?

I know a lot of people choose to do the more circular cut so that they can retain that bottom bolt near the skid plate. Just curious to hear more about your experience with that specific cut

Towed the bike to the shop today. Have a ticking at the top of the rocker at operating temperature. No power loss and starts right up. And FYI, that’s not a wheel-chock. But for $18 to rent, I am not complaining.

 

I imagine the towing fee for a motorcycle is more than $18.

Fun having a vehicle capable of towing things heavier than a bicycle carrier.
