When one money pit fills up you have to find another one.

2001 B3000 Dual Sport aka Ranger Edge. It has a 4x4 swap, some tinkering with the 3.0L Vulcan, and a 9" rear end in its future.

And probably the occasional parts run for money pit #1.

Same here. Providence is our preferred airport. The parking fees in Boston are insane. We flew out of Hartford last year and it was nice and parking was reasonable.

School vacation week prices are absolutely insane. A few years ago we got a crazy deal on a rental house in the Keys during February vacation. A friend had rented the place for a month but was only staying two weeks. We couldn’t find any reasonable flights anywhere in Florida. Ended up flying to Atlanta and driving. Saw the entire state of Florida on that trip.

If you live in the Norwood, Westwood, Dedham area and are looking for a Urgent Care center, don't go to the Mass Genera - Brigham on in Westwood. I'd say that they suck, but they'd have to improve substantially to suck.

They refused to see me for a burn because it too close to closing time. In this case it was 90 minutes before closing. I tried calling before hand, but they don't answer their phone. They told me I could do a virtual visit, but I was anable to connect.

I left and drove to a nearby ED. Which I had wanted to avoid because being in the medical field I know that they are over crowded with people that need care, but don't need an ED.

The hospital I went to receives a lot of patients from that urgent care and neither of the RNs, nor the PA had one good thing to say about it. That despite being part of the same hospital network. The very thing that urgent is supposed to prevent it makes worse.

It went alright, had to have the oil company come out twice to fix the boiler since it was choking itself out with soot build up. 2nd time the dude had barely looked at it and said the controller for the control valve we have was wrong and it was basically just spraying raw fuel and not even trying to ignite it since it wasn't up to pressure yet. So new controller and hopefully it will go longer than 3 months lol

Exactly. Our other option would have been to go in the summer but who wants to go to a tropical locale in July?

The teacher thing has many, many pros, but the limitations of vacations is absolutely a con. She has personal days to take but using them to go on vacation is something she has conflicting feelings about. She’s done it before as needed (as has everyone, no doubt) but I know it eats at her.

The urgent care at Patriot Place is decent. We’ve been far too many times and haven’t had any issues.
