Ever notice the similarity between the Armorer’s helmet and Moff Gideon’s? They were both Mauldeloreans.

I’m wondering if the Armorer has inside knowledge to help defeat Gideon…or if she was in on it.

 

Those Praetorian Guards are supposed to be hot shit, but I didn't see them approaching Paz when his belt-fed blaster was still working

I thought it was strange that we kept going back to her and yet nothing happened. There's a few fan theories going around she's actually working with Gideon.

 

I was just going to say, it’s making more & more sense to me that she would be a Spy.
The name of the latest episode was “The Spies”
Who are we referring to? There’s got to be a spy somewhere?
Was it The Armorer? (I think she’s definitely hiding something).
Was it that group of Mandos we met while riding that huge ski-vehicle thing?

yeah, strong suspicions lie on the armorer right now and a lot of stuf fi've been reading/watching are leanign that direction. I can kinda see their point but also...that would be one hell of a reveal fraught with...difficulties. haha.

 

But I also wonder if The Armorer is an intentional misdirection. Axe Woves dipped out at the start of the fight too. I guess we'll find out on Wednesday.

 

I highly doubt the Armorer is a spy, I think that'd be a cheap and terrible way to spin it, my money is on the survivors 100%. I also think either Din or Bo Katan is going to die, my money is on Din unfortunately. I think Thrawn will show up, appear to be a big bad guy, setting it up for the "surprise" in Ahsoka that he isn't, could just be a cameo at the end, post credits scene maybe. Gideon is definitely dead this time, Bo Katan cuts him in half with the Darksaber maybe. One more day, I can't wait

Well my predictions were way off, except for Gideon dying. A little underwhelming imo. It was a great episode, but for all the hype it was pretty straightforward. Didn't expect the Darksaber to die, the Gideon clones were kinda creepy, but that's it? No post credits scene? No tie ins to Ahsoka? Boba Fett?

Agreed. Sometimes I hate the fandom because we all over hyped this episode but so did the actors. They all said that it's going to be a sad episode....I kept waiting for it but nothing came around. Would've been a great episode if it wasn't the season finale

Now we wait for Ahsoka, which should be quite good

 

I'm pleasantly surprised that Axe and The Armorer stayed true.

And an aerial mando battle like in the animated series!

And Din Grogu!

 

Yeah....it was really fun to watch the battle and stuff but I was on the edge of my seat WAITING for the ball to drop and some weird revelation to come to light. Nothing.

The clones were extra creepy but it didn't really didn't have a lot of gravity to me. The fight between him and Djarin was fun. Grogu's final force use was awesome. The mando flying fight was GREAT. The Darksaber being destroyed has some fun implications to me. I REALLY like Gideon's line: "Mandalorians are nothign without their trinkets".

overall, i think it was an okay ending to an okay season that didn't really know it was doing for like 2 episodes. lol.

But agreed, I can't wait for Ahsoka.

 

They need more then 8 episodes a season if they're gonna have more seasons like this. Throw in 2 more really good episodes and I think this season would be a lot better....eight 35-40 minute episodes is not enough

 

The clones set up a future appearance of Darth Gideon. Possibly.

The battle was great.

Blowing up Gideon’s base with his own ship was poetic.

Bo Katan proved she doesn’t need the Dark Saber to lead Mandalore…she just needs to now be herself. She earned her place.

The armorer kicking ass with her forge tools was pure Star Porn.

Grogu interfering with the Praetorian Guard was excellent, but I expected him to choke a MF out like he was prone to do in season 1.

The mythosaur ending was a horrible tease to force us to wait for season 4.

 

I guess Gideon is dead but with his advanced armor and not seeing a body after the battle…. Will he be back in season 4? Honestly if that’s how they killed him im disappointed, I wanted Din to kill him in hand to hand combat and the viewers to see it finally finished. But what do I know…

 

Kinda lame to see the almighty dark saber get crushed like a pop can. Shouldn't it be made out of Beskar or something?

Glad to see there was no snitches in the Mando crew, definitely not the way

Also not convinced Gideon is actually dead. He should've been spitroasted by the darksaber or visibly crushed under his own ship.

Grogu looks like he's walking a little taller now. He did good..
