Won't be long before the dealership will be negotiating to remove the market adjustment off the new unit for your trade.

Yeah, those guys are funny. I think what they do is just base it off the lowest trim level. I have had some come back and be like oh it's a pro we ran it as a sport.
Interesting how it never works the other way. we ran it as sport but it's an sr5.

vroom for example offered my 10k less than carvana LOL. Then they have no place to put option. They used to have them all listed. Now the have Cargo cover as the only one.

Carvana is $500 below (2021) MSRP
    Tesla was $3k below Carvana
    CarMax is $1k below Tesla
Someone else was $2k below CarMax

Have you done a search on their site recently? It's stuffed full of cars that still have 10-15k markups that they've been sitting on for a year. No way they don't have a huge crash soon.

I wouldn't worry too much about trades. This push to end all gas powered vehicle production by 2035 isn't going over well

You missed the boat, but you were better off selling at that time and waiting.

About time the market drops. Places like Carmax will be out of business in a couple years.

Still too high, and people are way too Chicken Little to even compare it to 2008.

I follow the RV index. Until you see craigslist absolutely overloaded with endless 1-2 year old RVs going for 20% of sticker then it isn't a true crash. (not 20% off. 20% as in you can find a trailer that saw exactly one camping trip and is now selling for 5 grand.)

Once you see the RV index crash, that's when it's time to buy. Until then, it's a seller's market.

Market adjustment is down right unacceptable. You want to take away a FULL tank of gas alright, I have seen Failure On Race Day pumping up 20k. Are they nuts. Keep the darn thing. It ultimately upset buyer who will never go back to that dealer and they lose future sales.

Hogwash! The used car industry will continue to chug along like it has for the last 100 years. Carmax and other big players will restructure their debt just like any other company would. It's the small guys that might not survive the inevitable pivot back to a more normalized economy.

Nobody is parting with their dream RV in the beginning of the season. The people who bought them and don't need them still have all summer to prove to themself they made a good investment. Can you tell I'm not into RVs.

I think most people buy them because they want them and use them, most buyers probably replace the one they get rid of with another model.
