If it was a 27 year old male coach having sex with a 17 year old girl student, there would be outrage and he would be put under the jail.

But when a pretty female teacher takes advantage of a young male student it's all "Whoa, lucky Dude!" and the teacher will get a very light sentence.

In Texas, juries have acquitted fathers who killed "rapists." They never addressed whether the daughter was a willing participant.

Woman can be just as guilty as men...even if the minor male tends to be a more willing participant than the minor female, the law applies equally. We're hearing more and more of these stories in the news recently because the law is being enforced more equally than in the past.

The law applies equally, but the sentencing sets the precedent or imples that it is a lesser crime. When the perpetrator is a woman and the victim a male.

Take any criminal charge the law is equal it's the sentencing that really shows how the court views the law. That varies between courtroom, case, and Judge.
