Found the issue. This vacuum line blew. Cut it back about 1.5" and all good now.

That is a primary line too so that'll definitely do you in if it's jacked up. Good find!

It must have just finally burst on that drive. It was pretty dry rotted and brittle at the end where I cut off. I could hear it clear as day too with the hood popped open and engine running.

Toyota's and their EVAP and their primary vacuum hoses have a thing for dry rotting relatively quickly for some reason. I have noticed it brand wide throughout the generations, it doesn't affect just one model more than the other. It's sort of annoying but luckily they make their stuff pretty easy to access.

Well if it’s not one thing it’s another right guys? I was installing this bumper
    F67E7CA4-D5E8-4E6E-909E-3ED62E67C936.jpg

Which made me notice… hmm why is my truck covered in oil

Still not 100% sure where it’s coming from. My primary guess is crank seal. I noticed it was wet when I swapped my supercharger bearings. But literally everything was covered down there.. if anyone has gone through this before let me know what you think

The crank seals on these engines are pretty shit honestly. You'd have to snap a better photo for me to be able to tell you yay or nay but I had something similar some time ago when mine was failing at like 50K.

Well these photos are not much better, but I am pretty certain it’s the crank pulley judging by the residue around it. Cleaning everything with all purpose cleaner and the water makes it a little harder to tell where it’s coming from, I might let it sit and run for a few minutes to see if it will start dripping.

This is why I did my timing cover and head gasket. All sorts of stuff wants to pop off. I'm going to shut it down and let these b*tches know, "I'm not the one."

That's how my day went yesterday too @Murphinator .. drove out to swap LCAs with another member and ended blowing that hose.

    PXL_20230416_032338188.MP.jpg

As far as your leak.. I had a similar drip/mist when the OEM crank pulley was cracked, back when I was taking it off and on. Replacing it with the NST set solved that. Another time was when I cracked my upper oil pan.. but yours looks more like the pulley/seal.

After letting it run for about 20 min, no leaks. I parked it so the rear of the truck is higher, and let it sit. I see this small amount of residue so I’m thinking its probably crank seal. No other residues anywhere else
