My Long term fuel trim is still -13 lol

I don't know what this truck wants from me lol. Injectors have been rebuilt. MAF is cleaned/replaced. Exhaust leaks are fixed

That's the only thing I miss from living in Phoenix. Cannot find anyone in the Seattle metro that sells tortillas made with monteca.

 

96-98(?) Bullet style MAF are all the same, right?

I think the one I grabbed was from a junkyard 98 4runner. Not sure the one it replaced was a factory 96 one but I could swap it back in and see if it puts me closer to 0.

Only other "issue" I have is cold idle is 1200-1500 rpm but it comes down to about 600 when warm. No CEL or pending codes

 

I think so, anything you can think of that would be mechanically causing it to over fuel, kinked fuel return line maybe?

Watching Finnegans garage, he's building a jig to hold his turbos so he can make the exhaust manifold. He's dragging this polished turbo around his dirty metal workspace and letting it swing in an engine bay on a hoist. Just for shits I looked up the turbo set he's using from Nelson Racing Engines... the pair of them cost $7300. My man's working with them like they're used subaru turbos haha

 

It's running good. I think it'll take the smaller pulley later. It felt solid once it hooked. I don't think the locker is smart but 4wd will be on the next passed for sure. No weight, stiff springs and mud tires just aren't a good recipe. I think I can get into the 17s next pass.

yeahhh that's a good call. I don't think the lil Elocker side gear would be super happy about it. But with any luck it will hold on and break in the middle of nowhere instead of at the track

 

Idk if it would make it handle goofy on the big end with it locked. I think 4wd will be ok, I'll just bang it into 2wd after I get in 2nd gear.

 

fixing all the little things that have pissed me off about this truck that for some reason i decided i could ignore for years at a time. Makes it a lot less shitty to drive though lol

Got the sliding window latch done and I'm ready to fight the door cranks next
