Thanks fellas. I ordered Mobil1 and have the pump for the bottle top. I don’t remember it being a huge PIA but squeeze bags do sound convenient!

I used Redline for my diffs and xfer case. I used this thing to put the oil in. The pumps that attach to the bottle are junk.

I couldn't find a good one that doesn't break after the first bottle or leak straight away

I forget where I bought mine, maybe from Autozone. So far, it's been good. I've done the diffs and xfer case on my 4Runner, and that plus the tranny on the Tacoma. It's just plain silver with no special branding that I remember.

I was talking about the pumps that you screw into bottles. I got halfway through the job and the pump broke, had to get a ride to the parts store to get another one. :annoyed:

Oh yeah the pump is awful. Mine leaked right away and something broke before I finished the 2nd quart. I probably lost 1/2 quart with the mess it made.

I’m on 4.56s. With the driving I do I didn’t want to destroy mpg and highway speeds. I would have went 4.88s but was worried that being too much if I ever downsized to 33s or swapped to the Duratracs I had for winter. ARBs front/rear..

also deleted my ADD tube when I did the case swap and regear.. It’s like I’m driving my 90s jeeps again deleting all the electronics

4.56's are exactly what I want to do with mine. Did you get yours installed or just the diffs swapped out?

I did the swapping myself. The rear was stupid easy. Front was a PITA getting out, easier going in. I did them both at different times though. Rear first and then front. Did the 2wd thing for a month or so..

I had ECGS do both the lockers and they also did the solid spacers on both diffs… for the $45 each it’s kinda a no brainer. I had both diffs to my door in less than their 2 week ETA too. Customer service was awesome too. I was missing the quick connect fitting for the lockers air line @ the compressor and they had one to my door in 2 days. 3DDAB122-FC5D-4B73-9868-ED4059D86348.jpgBF3E2399-7571-4DD0-A514-CA2604985D40.jpg (Pics of the rear 3rd)

I sense a regear mod fest. I was half thinking of a road trip down there...

Finally finished up my relocation project. Still need to add the duel battery isolator but I'll do that when I add solar. Sooner rather than later I hope.

20230415_160708.jpgnew distribution box, center positive will be for winch
20230415_160708.jpgwas playing with epoxy and couldn't resist having a Lego guy:D

Added a few holes for drainage just in case I do stupid stuff.

Truck feels lighter, now for the winch

It is, along the driver side frame rail... it's been done as has mine.

    Stole the idea from @WormSquirts
