Thanks man! I’m pretty excited. Today is opening day at one of the bike parks so I may need to take a day off to go ride!

Last ride before I left SoCal, out in El Cajon near Kyle Strait's house.
Holy crap it was crazy hot( for coming from east coast spring), apparently mother nature hasn't taught water how to dry up properly on the trail here, 3/4 of the way up the trail turned into a creek.

 

Man, what a day. Day 4 of the season, I’m spent.

 

Yessir, it’s been a while since I’ve ridden there but I think it’ll be a good spot to break in and dial in the spire

Yet another great weekend in Bellingham! Rode Galby with my sister who's crushing it lately with a little encouragement. Very different from Utah, like being able to buy 6%+ beers at a bike shop.

And also coming home with an absurd job offer and still being comparatively broke when looking at house prices.

 

Property taxes in WA suck too. Probably worth it though. I’d move to Port Angeles so I could bike, ski and surf all in the same day.

 

IDK man, I partially grew up there and even I question if its worth moving back to western WA.

Its a great place with a slew of issues. If I didnt have my entire extended family back there, I wouldnt think twice about it.

 

Well I justified moving from Colorado to Alabama for family so anything is possible.

I wanna buy one so bad. May very well have a partial horse trading way of funding it too, but gotta figure out if I'm moving first.

All that talk of tires the other day had me thinking its time to replace my hard tail tires that ive been saying ill give to my dad for like 2 years. im thinking ill give it to him after my race in may, unless i sign up for another race lol

No big adventures for me, unfortunately.

I did finally finish building up my hardtail! I bedded in the brakes last night, in a hurry, and my legs and lungs were killing me. Hopefully the new bike with the child seat on it will help me lose some of this baby weight I've put on for the last 16 months!
