Soo much room to do a timing belt

    ($500 3.4 5 speed tundra)

It sat for 5 years hence the surface rust... has a hole where the old battery leaked all its acid out

Much more reasonable sales versus BaT. Unless you want a collector car or something very specific that doesn't hit market often, it seems the way to go. More varied models and conditions from what I've seen. Restored my hope of getting something decent that's made in Stuttgart and not selling an organ.

Kind of annoying you can't just buy a new oem bumper preassembled versus sub-assembly, top cover, etc etc
I get it, but my lazy brain would like the option.

Prolly should use more than duct tape to hold your rad in....

I had a 2wd t-100 pan on my sas setup in the beginning and the clearance was good w ford axle. I think the 4wd gets you a bit more on sas and it is the only one that will work on ifs I believe but gonna kick this one down to @02hilux he would know better than me. Currently I have clearance issues running 18 gauge wire most places.

For the ls swap you will need the lowest clearance pan possible. Speedway sells them. My stock one is costing me 1.5" of up travel. Gonna swap once I get things dialed in.

I don't have any desire to argue on forums these days, but when Mom sends me a garbage news article from a crappy source, I can't help it.

Haha. Yes, basically. Its the kind of article that makes people feel like they're informed because they name drop consultants and cite cherry picked 'facts', but all they're really doing is tugging at emotions and reinforcing pre-conceived notions. "News" my ass.
