    Not much stock left.
This is quite good. I’ve liked all the Old Forester offerings I’ve tried to date.

Just came across this at my Costco yesterday. Think it was $104.

I’ve taken a break from bourbon in general…that being said, I’m in NOLA this week and would be interested in any tips for this area. I’m not above doing some window shopping, or maybe looking at museum pieces.

Also interested in advice for restaurants/bars that aren’t thick with tourists. I’m with co-workers who would in fact be interested in real, actual quality whiskey bars even if I may not be into it at the moment.

Anyone mentioning Bourbon Street will be blocked with prejudice :)

I lived in NOLA from 2008-2010. If Dragos in Metairie is still open that place had the best charbroiled oysters. Better than Acme Oyster House and will not have a bunch of tourists. The Swamp Room on Veterans was a good local spot to chill, play pool and get some alligator boudin balls to munch on(they’re not alligator testicles before anyone asks). Avenues Pub on St. Charles was a great little place. Gotta go through a drive thru daiquiri bar as well while you’re there and get an alcoholic beverage through a drive thru window like normal people do a Big Mac. I know you don’t want to hang out on Bourbon Street but there were a couple ghost tours we took in that area that were really cool, and they stopped at bars for breaks.

New Orleans in general is a huge shithole tourist trap though. You couldn’t pay me enough to move back.

I bought a 6-pack. All are intact (for the time being), but I'd be down for buying a TW Glencairn.

Imagine how much more fragile they'd be if made from glass instead of crystal!

You could count me in for a couple glencairns.

Side note the OF100 is giving the WT101 a run for its money as my favorite bourbon under $30!
