Im thinking of getting a pair for when I kayak. I normally use the all terrain ones, but they need to be replaced this year.
    Do you like them?

Both my 2016 TRD Sport and 2018 TRD OR did it. If they kill the manual for 2024 I may end up ordering a 2023 and hoping it doesn't have this issue.

The runny mascara look that Toyota seems to have a fetish for. If the 3rd gen tundra and Sequoia didn't ha e that stupid plastic vent, it'd look so much better

Definitely, that's not on you even. I have a bit of a grudge against some of us having to do the homework of today's automotive journalists, who should be noticing these things themselves and making it transparent to us. Whether or not we care. It's why I like (obsessively) posting on this truck, to fill in any gaps I can regarding info (if I learn anything new). Weird, but I really hated how it was hard for anyone to learn about the Bronco (years back) and this truck's trajectory, since the news guys weren't really looking in the right places. (Really irks me, when folks don't due their job.)

    302022003011_Page_01.jpgPatent Brazil.jpg
Many automotive writers saw this patent in detail per the patent database, but I don't think they really tried to highlight key info from this PDF of it and piece together some details hidden within it for any readers, to explain who, what, when, where, how and why happened with it
being leaked so early. It's supposed to be their jobs as investigative automotive journalists/reporters, but it seems more forum users and comment sections have to do their homework (unpaid) in this area as the years go on. Unlike the journalists, I'm a bit more aware I guess, in having engineering patents I'm apart of and understanding the process. It still shouldn't be an excuse for them, to be asleep at the wheel if this info was in the same Brazilian patent files they saw.

I know this is an old comment from last week and I do apologize for responding so late, on the cusp of another teaser (in possibly derailing discussion).

Ah, finally. I have searched high and low for anything related to this program code for some years now, but Toyota does their very damndest to scrub the net of anything referring to it outside of their internal servers. Thank you for catching this, as usually press images like these are very first time they openly confirm the internal development code. I didn't see it before, but you caught something with that internal code finally.

A bit spooked by the possibility that I am a major reason why they've been cutting down on many active Toyota development program codes being publicly researchable, because they keep finding my posts mentioning the truck+920B (plus other codes) and not being too discreet about it. Sucks because, when it's not industry databases or private insight, a deep search of these program codes are a very easy way to specifically find out hidden information on an upcoming model and cut out the clickbait results. This was much easier to do 5-10 years ago, but all OEMs have gotten much smarter at covering all tracks, as expected. It's usually my last resort, when I really don't want rely on sources and ask too many questions that render me nosy.

New Tundra also has aluminum spindles. Not surprised to see them on the Tacoma too.
