My fan clutch arrived from Toyota, I ordered a fan from yotashop and it hasn't been updated in 5 days and apparently they are shipping it tomorrow, I hope my local dealer has the nuts for the fan, and the bolts for the pulley. Looking forward to yanking out that electric fan.

I also just need to buy a stove, and a refrigerator for my new spot im moving in to, after 2 years of work. Converted my downstairs into a two bedroom full kitchen bath. sound proofed the ceiling with a myriad of things. Got to install the air conditioner and counters and I can move in, once I do that ill feel done enough to go buy tires for the SAS truck.

I know this post was from last month, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts on your oil filter magnet. Are you cutting them open when you do your oil changes? If so, how are they looking? Any pictures for reference?

They all have H & R lowering springs with Koni Orange struts. The black one below has some front subframe bushing trickery that is seen in an S-chassis with a rear sway bar. It has I35/Z-car larger brakes on the front. The Maroon 98 model has been upgraded to the SE-type suspension.

Those are so much better looking than the newer generations of Nissan sedans. Once they switched to CVTs they got butt ugly and unreliable.

In fact, a lot of manufactures just seemed to give up on economy cars and sedans after 98-01ish. Models like the Impreza, Camry, Corolla, Maxima, and others all declined in quality and reliability after this time period IMO.

I loved my 4th gen, I'd have another if I could find a manual. But I can't talk too much shit about my 2014 Maxima either, because even with the CVT it was reliable and pretty damn fast. I would leave it wound up at 100+ driving the loop highways at night in AZ.

That one looks good with the wheels and tires. I think the CVTs can be reliable if the fluid is changed every 30k miles or so, but of course hardly anybody does that.

That always has been my favorite body style. The story goes that Nissan hired a Maserati designer for this generation. I can see the resemblance from the rear.

Some guy converted one to have a 6-speed manual.

They were touted as having the power of a v8 in a car not much larger than a Civic. The 95 models could take a Jim Wolf ECU.

A guy named Dallas in Huntsville AR makes a Y-pipe for a precat delete. I run this on both 4th gens.

the T4R steering wheel with its tears is driving me nuts, might just replace the whole thing. Restitching a new one seems like more work and I hate stitching so it would probably look like crap

I have that stitch-it-yourself setup in the Land Cruiser, and although the left side came out great and was tightly wrapped, the right side (specifically where it wraps around the spokes) has been coming apart. I couldn't get a tight enough knot or something so the threading undid itself.

You can't see it unless you look underneath, but you definitely feel it when driving and your hand goes over that spot.

yeah that's what I'm afraid of, I did buy a kit but when I opened it up and looked at how it was supposed to wrap around the spokes it just seemed like it would be a nightmare to try and make it look good, I might have not gotten the best one though.

    That looks good though
