I have my Bell Enduro that has the removable mandible that I wear all the time. Rarely do I ride trails that dont involve a good pedal up first.

Nice. I dig the "oil slick" bolts and chainring. Nice touch.

To maximize your investment make sure you're confident in the sensation you want from a shock, Push has incredible adjustability but certainly can be paralysis/wasted if you're not in sync with what you want out of a bike. Historically I'm a 'set it and forget it' suspension guy but my recent move to MRP has required an intimate understanding of suspension settings and its influence on the ride.

Speaking of: I'm still struggling with loss of traction when braking hard on the MRP Hazzard coil shock. I've increased rebound as much as possible (without making the rear too lively) and reduced LSC as much as possible (without bobbing like a hooker). Next I'm going to decrease my coil progression via Springdex and see if that helps the coil more plush off the top. Paging @abacall

Hmmm. Usually I'm a medium but with a good enough mullet hairstyle I could do a large

Yeah that’s why I asked- I usually don’t touch anything and just ride- sure I’m missing out- have MRp on a lot of my stuff and haven’t touched it-

I just know people rave about them and the rascal frame I wanted thats a killer deal happens to have one- adding even more to my want to get it and if it’s not my thing just sell it.

on that note- anyone selling a L or XL mid travel bike frame? Newer with modern geo
Spot mayhem- SB130 Hightower etc ripmo is about as big as I want to go

The thing with Sprindex is that it uses a progressive coil, which many not play nicely with your frame. Reducing the rate on the Sprindex will only add sag. I used the Sprindex to find my rate, then went to a straight lightweight coil after that. The idea is that once you have the sag you're after, you dial in the rebound to match and never tough that again.
Compression/rebound adjustment is what you would need to use to dial in the feel of the bike after that. Which it sounds like you've been doing.
    Have you tried bracketing?

Man, the Push is a killer shock. I noticed a huge change to the way my Wreckoning felt with it. But, admittedly, I am a bit of a tinkerer and knob turner so I enjoyed that process. If you're willing to put in the time, it's a truly amazing product. However, if you're not so "in tune" with the bike your bang-for-the-buck may not justify the price. Only because there are so many damn good products out there that the jump from damn good, to Push is much smaller than it used to be.

Love a Ti hardtail! I have a very similar bike set up for easier trail rides and taking my daughter on the shotgun seat.

If it's on the bike already and it's within your price range, then go for it!

Need to get out on my XC bike soon... too many toys and not enough time

Just fit a larger crank chain ring (+2 teeth) so I don't run out of gears on top end.

    This and that...
Any recommendations for a tailgate pad? Found a good deal on the basic Fox pad but looks like the straps degrade pretty bad on some reviews.
