Teaser pics so far show just a frameless porthole sliding window smaller than before.

Cleaned up today’s leaked image and I gotta say I like where they’re going with this Gen4…

They do. It is all splitting hairs at this point. Even owning Toyotas for over 30 years (remember when i was teased for buying Jap Crap)…it was only a few things that kept me in a Toyota, resale is better than most, vast aftermarket and available take-offs, not that I mod the hell out of my truck, extra parts are easy to come by…and the grand illusion of long term reliability.

Did like the Ranger’s engine better for towing, I drive slow…low end torque is actually good for us not in a hurry guys. Plus rear seat and carpet delete, vinyl seats, and add a rear locker without having to pay for silly upper trim charges for a bunch of fluff I won’t use or need.

Like the specs better of the Ranger, but the Taco won out barely, and it is what I know…why change now?

Are you 100% sure you’re buying a 4G? Couple days ago it was Subies…:p

The 4G rumors do sound a hell of a lot better than the 3G, could trade in, but think the market will be nuts, can only imagine the dealer mark ups. That and I could really use a full-size at times, maybe Tundra sales will slow with the masses buying the 4G, and they’ll be some deals.

HAHAHA. I am still undecided and my mind may change still, but I know for sure I must get a Truck first before considering an SUV or anything else.

I went to the Dealers to look at some Subarus' over the weekend, and Subaru's are just NOT for me. I just don't like the way they look. Even lifted and with nice tires, they just don't do it for me.

Besides, I am more of a Truck guy, have always owned a truck since 1993 (except for the last 4 months). I must get a Truck first, then maybe 4 years down the line I will dump my Prius and get a compact AWD SUV.

Hahaha! Oh I get it, went round and round with the last purchase. We used to own a construction business, so always had trucks…hell I might of even been conceived in a dump truck! Lol!

Now that I am older, retired from construction…ask myself do I really need a truck? Yeah, yeah I do. Camping and hauling dirt bikes would be a pain in the ass otherwise, it could be done with a Suby, but why? Used the hell out of the bed, that would been a pain in a Suby. There are times I could use a fullsize, keep on eyeballing Tundras and Super Duty’s with an 8’ bed. Haven’t owned a full-size in quite some time, do miss having an 8’ bed.

If you got the money and looking for a new truck, please buy the 4th gen and report back to the plebeians so we can pitch or non personal experience $2 pesos.

I put my 18 Pro with 89km up for sale last night for 50CDN and my phone was blowing up all eve. I did get an offer for 47 I told him I would sleep on it. Woke up this am and thought to myself that I don't wanna dish out another 25 right now for a 23 Pro. Where I am our sales tax is 15% and new pro is 64x1.15=73.6 plus fees say 75 total.

I can’t believe they are going with what looks like a gloss black for the wheel arches. Wife’s Rav4 has them and they scratch so easily.

And what colour do we think this is, doesn’t look like any of the silvers or whites currently offered?

I've mentioned it before, but I just don't see discs in the rear changing the driving experience by a measurable amount.

I still think the color will be like Avalanche Grey, or whatever that color is called on Fords. I'm sure some other Toyota has a similar primer grey looking color already. Tacoma's don't seem to get anything unique or new really. Kind of surprising given how important the model is for Toyota.

What would you gain by doing that? A different color? It’s the same truck and you barely have any miles on the current one?

Ya thats why I took the add down after thinking about it for a few hours. But I guess it's nice to know that I got offered 4k more than I paid 8 months ago and put on 25km..

It is certainly a different color. Maybe a bit darker than that weird Toyota beige?

Ice edge is the Toyota equivalent of Avalanche gray. Just a really light gray (I think, I'm colorblind). Would be a cool Tacoma color though

To keep this back "on target", I am really looking forward to real world reviews of the AWD Mustang SV650 Raptor R!
