Well drivin' along, singin' a song (Sawyer Brown) and I spy (with my little eye) an orange mower on the side of the road...

    With a magic sign:

    KIMG2999.jpg

15 miles to the garage to get the trailer, 15 miles back to load up aided by the latest in leverage improving devices, aka: a come - a - long.

    KIMG2998.jpg

15 miles back to the garage for a brief check over, sign said it needs a starter -- yep it does - it's missing, as in removed.

Also said it leaked oil, this one is going to take some cleaning, the engine and underneath is all oil and grass.

Free though, I guess the sun shines on a dogs @$$ now and then.

I actually have to replace both deck spindles on mine. Bought it August 2020 and while the one spindle is bent, the bearings are bad in the other. They don't make them like they used to o_O

I get 10 packs of bearings on AMZ and replace them every few years.
I can bang them out on the ZT in about an hour.

Yea Cub Cadet wanted $115 just for one. Went on the ol' interscreen and went on the old jungle website and ordered a two pack for about $70. Fresh from the boat from China

I'll save the old ones and rebuild them...
