if you just click TC, it turns on Auto LSD and turns off traction control, but stability control is still on. You need to do the long hold as others suggested (need to be completely stopped) then you can slide around all you wish.

How much would it cost to turn my truck into a Ken Block Hoonigan-mobile? Is there a thread on this?

Auto LSD is just another level of traction control... Auto LSD does not turn off traction control.

You need to turn both Traction Control and Vehicle Stability Control off. Traction control off will let your wheels spin. TC and VSC off will let your wheels spin and allow you to get sideways. VSC is what is keeping your Taco pointed in a straight direction by detecting and limiting excess spin when one or more of your corners are spinning more than the others.

Unofficial price tag on the Hoonicorn is north of half a mil. On the cheap, booger weld in a 4 Runner rear end with coil springs, couple ebay turbos and some loner travel suspension and you could go full tard for under $15k until things start to break.

For 100 bucks and some spare lawnmower parts you can make a three wheeler with plastic sleeves on the back. Hoon all you want in your own back yard.

I don't fully agree. It will let the wheels spin, unlike TC. It does use the brakes to modulate power and act as an LSD. If i have 1 tire on ice, 1 pavement, the truck will spin (with TC on). when i turn off TC, (but leave on AutoLSD) it will sound like a tiny machine gun, but will pull itself off the ice. so in that sense it aids traction, but it is not traction control.

Take it back to the dealer and tell 'em it's broke and won't do donuts or slides.
