I only have the map lights. Once I saw how bright they were I just put regular LEDs in the dome

Are the fogs 3rd gen and 2nd gen interchangeable? I thought they were.

Maybe not. Thought I originally read on the dd website the SS3’s fit 2.5+ gens but “now” the DD site says no. Maybe I misread.

2.5 Gen can use 3rd Gen SS3 brackets. I will try to find @crashnburn80 ’s post on this topic.

Think the link is in the “ultimate fog” thread. I swear DD used to have fitment listed as 12-23 but now it’s listed separately 12-15 & 16-23. FWIW the part numbers are the same for 12-15 and 16-23.

 

They may have a 2.5 Gen specific bracket now which wasn’t initially available?

I think they have a 2.0 bracket as well, not sure when that first came out. I’m tempted to get some but I need to do a harness and I’d like to add fog to the stalk so I have just avoided the whole effort for now.

 

Modified brackets was my guess too.

I got it easy and can’t tell you how many time I’ve had a set in and out of the cart or a PM typed up and never hit send. One day a box will show up with set in it.
