Got Dexy another vet appt for tomorrow, poor dude isn't getting better and could say worse even, counting the mud butt now that isn't going away. He woke me up twice last night head butting my shoulder so he could go outside and fertilize the yard

They did a fecal sample test last time and said a couple days ago nothing abnormal came back, so I dunno...guess more tests are needed.

There's that and a couple of hidden wake settings that could keep it from being able to wake up if it detects being in you pocket.

It can still happen if you put an unlocked phone in your pocket though lol

Hopefully you guys find out the issue soon.

My guess initially was the cat food he's eaten; some cat food apparently is poisonous to dogs.

Oh damn I'll have to look into that, I did a little bit but all I could find was that it wasn't good if it was all they were eating. It's actually worse for cats to eat dog food because they need more protein than dogs. But if there's a brand or type that might be poisonous that would be worth knowing for sure, I'll make sure we mention it to the vet.

don't think so, he does like to eat the turf material at the playground for some reason....but he's a dog and a Husky at that, it's impossible to know what he's deciding to put in his mouth every day lol

I mean @Kwikvette and I literally watched him gulp down mouthfuls of earth on our camping trip and vomit them up, rinse/repeat

I admit I have been a poor example, she won't eat the ends of her quesadilla slices and we've probably tossed out enough of those to feed an army over the last couple years. So once in awhile I would toss one to Dex and she saw me do it and tries to do the same, but that ended awhile ago. I think...

Shit you are onto something here

    Screenshot_20230419-173228.jpg

Mild pancreatitis is what they diagnosed him with last week. It's weird though he doesn't eat a lot of it and he mostly eats his food. Article says it's an issue when it's their primary diet for extended time but maybe he's more sensitive to it. Gonna hide the cat food now yikes.

Rebecca said he's been on the porch in the same spot all day long. He's excited to go on a walk with me now though so that's a good sign. Good thing we got an appt for tomorrow morning.

I could've sworn I had mentioned that here before, then again I think I told Rebecca that when she had come over last week.

Kind of hope that's the cause because than means you can find immediate action to fix it.

Mine kept hitting the last dialed when he went to hang up the phone, if I hung up faster. So thought he hit the end but just dialed me. (iPhone, not sure what your pop has but worth a look. I keep telling them butt dialing doesn't exist with touchscreens unless your literal bare ass is touching the screen lol)

True, that's one way to make it more plausible. I guess I've gotten lucky, the few times I've pulled my phone out of my pocket and it hasn't been locked nothing has happened. I've been using touchscreen phones since they launched and literally never accidentally dialed someone lol
