Those mirrors came out pretty nice, reminds me that mine need a touch-up. Did you sand and primer first or just spray over the existing paint?

THANKS! i just cleaned them up real good. Then scuffed them up with a scootch brite pad. Then used wax and grease remover and then painted them. I'm happy with how it looks!

So after my coolant flush was completed I decided to do some more mechanical stuff. I changed the UCA’s, lower ball joints and all four shocks. Everything was original parts with 202,000 miles on them. Crazy!

I finally got around to masking up and prepping the truck. Followed by painting it.
I went with rust oleum gloss white spray paint. I bought 8 turbo cans and it was enough for 3 coats. Came out pretty good. Next up will be the wheels. Making progress!

While I was in a painting mood, I decided to take care of the wheels. The first pics are after I power washed the wheels…still really bad! So I proceeded to wipe them down and scuff them up. I painted them with rust oleum High performance wheel spray. The color was ‘steel’. I think they came out great!

Like with an air compressor? I didn't want to buy any equipment I did not have, plus the hassle of mixing/thinning the paint does not appeal to me. $130 in spray paint was the deal for me. Plus they worked really well. Paint looks good. Is it perfect? No. But its a nice driver. And that's all I was looking for. I'm hoping next week it'll be ready for some wrap up pics. Got a few more things planned for it.

    ye pics like that.

and yes with a compressor. Around on my island there is a couple booths that can be rented, the point being you spent the time to sand and mask everything. single stage so one gun, or spray primer, base, and clear with cheap guns. The goal I guess would be to avoid having the truck look like a tweaker car that someone sprayed because they are high on meth lol.

You misconstrued what I was trying to say, the point I was making is that you went through the effort of sanding and masking, why not spray in a booth or with a gun. By no means am I calling you that.

A little update on the trucks progression so far.
I also did the radiator flush, and changed out the trans fluid. It's coming along!

Finished up the 3rd coat of paint. I decided to mask up the bed and spray in the bedliner. Looks pretty good! I’m dropping in a rubber bed mat and then I’ll be installing a tonneau cover later on. You can also see my new rear bumper. The old one was rusted to the point it split in the middle lol
