Do you guys think it would be a good idea to do a couple coats of Clear Gloss after plasti-dip on the lower valance?
Maybe give it some pertection and shine to it? Just a thaught, tell me what you think! :)

I did that with my wind deflector on my ski racks and it's holding up really well. I used Rustolium flat clearcoat.

cool! but im thinking about using a gloss clear, or would a satin clear look better?
I think the gloss would look kinda good...

Good question, I personally like the satin look better but it would be nice to see how a plasti dip would look with a gloss finish.

^ you should be able to do it with about 3 cans... One for the grill and two for the rear bumper.

Actually I barely had enough for the rear bumper with one can but decided to be extra generous with and extra coat.

I bought 3 cans and have half of one left over. I did the rear bumper, front grill and all the "emblems" on the door/tailgate. Hope this helps.

Just did the spare last night after reading this thread. Didn't even tape off the tire! After some dry time I just peeled it right off the tire. I painted the hubcap too. Just scored around the emblem with an exacto knife and it peeled right off the chrome emblem. Looks good IMO.

Does Plasti Dip come in different colors? They only have black at my local Home Depot.

When you plasti dip the emblems, do you leave them on the truck or take them off?
