Exact opposite actually they are able to replicate and pulled others off the lot and they do it too. They then said it’s a characteristic of that vehicle… like what?

Is everyone having this problem have trucks from the same factory?

That I don’t know. There’s several forums and posts about the issue. Maybe setup a poll or something.

Although the specific buzzing issue isn't addressed in this video, symptoms of other things closely sounding related are. Bottom line, disconnect the battery for more than 30 minutes and/or delete the blue tooth connection at your phone and the radio's ends and reinstall. Maybe this will work. If nothing else, this video provides insight into the components involved. https://youtu.be/FkAdMRKHS_0

I’ve also tried all of these steps before. It’s not the user/trucks phone though it’s the receiving caller. I originally thought it was outgoing communication interference but it only happens when the engine is running so it has to be electrical or maybe wires not insulated properly causing a reverb to the microphone.

At this point, I'd be willing to bet you have a defective microphone. Or, the gain is set too high and I don't think that is adjustable. Maybe try turning the volume on your actual phone down quite a bit the next time you make a call from the truck. This turns down received audio but minimizes a signal loop potential.

Not sure really. Cause the kicker is it works normal when the engine is not running. Probably a bad mic but they won’t even try swapping parts since other 2023’s are doing it so not sure what to do. It’s obviously a factory build issue happening in bulk.

Ah! forgot the "engine running" part. Now it sounds to me like a classic missing ground issue. Or, if it's new - the ground is loose or put over a painted surface. You're getting ignition noise. It could also be a ground where there shouldn't be a ground, but I'm defaulting to the former - missing/loose.

Well I’m taking it in today because the windshield has a tiny chip from factory at the top inside behind the headliner and glue bead so maybe I’ll have them check the grounds.

Shit I have a chip inside top right too. Ours rolled off back to back probably. Is your tailgate plastic lip crimped in the middle too, it’s all on my list. :annoyed:

I’d be stoked to hear back on what happens. I’m about a month behind you. I appreciate the trailblazing.

Does your right drivers side window make an odd loose noise when finishing rolling up? If it does then our trucks really are twins lol

lmao, I told the rep you would think this was a used vehicle.. another thing im having em look at is the click noise from park to drive in the steering column, not sure if that is a normal sound for it engaging but i don't recall it when i first got it.

Oh damn. Well at least the windshield is a go. The tailgate part is cheap enough and I figure the first to get beat up. I’ll let ya know if I find a fix out there in Tacoma land for the buzzing.

For what it’s worth, two dealerships and three visits and they still can’t find the problem with my 2021 trd sport.

if anyone gets to the end of this rainbow please post your solution.
