Anyone know if there is a wire under the dash I could tap that has +12v when the horn triggers from an alarm? I am installing a remote start module and would like to see if i can tap under the dash instead of running a wire directly to the horn itself. Thanks.

Hi Caribe Makaira, Thanks for your response! Also, just want to confirm, the wire labeled in Light Blue (31) will provide me with the +12v power i need when the alarm is triggered? Do you know if it is consistent or a pulse 12v signal. Or is it a ground? I need +12v.

Thanks! I will have to run a wire directly from the horn then.

    Alarm doesn't have a selection either/or?

79EA076D-FAC7-4896-BEEE-69EBE75A7CAF.jpg No it doesn’t, its for a mycarcontrols module that says to connect to a constant or pulse +12v trigger. Cannot change in settings.

What about adding a micro relay? So you don't send wires into the engine bay, have it parallel with hot fuse on 86&30 then 85 would tie into horn activation wire and 87 to the added alarm...
